Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the reform of state-owned enterprises has been developing in depth,but the construction of modern enterprise system is not perfect enough,which shows the deep-seated contradiction in the development of market economy.For state-owned enterprises,on the basis of traditional reform,it is necessary to build a modern enterprise system in line with the law of market development,improve their core competitiveness,and provide effective support for the stable development of the national economy.To establish and improve the market-oriented operation mechanism of state-owned enterprises has become a pressing matter of the moment to improve the market competitiveness of state-owned enterprises.The core of market-oriented operation mechanism is people.A good management mechanism should be able to fully mobilize the vitality and enthusiasm of enterprise employees.When the motivation level of employees of state-owned enterprises is similar to that of employees of other private and foreign-funded enterprises in the market,their operation behavior will be close to the most efficient and advanced behavior mode in the market,and finally their operation performance will be improved.It is of great significance to study the employee’s job satisfaction to improve the enterprise’s efficiency and reduce the brain drain.Therefore,improving the job satisfaction of SOEs’ employees is conducive to deepening the reform of SOEs’ system and mechanism,stimulating employees’ enthusiasm,improving the internal operation level of SOEs,improving organizational performance,enhancing the core competitiveness of SOEs,and maintaining and increasing the value of state-owned assets.Z corporation as a one hundred-year-old state-owned enterprise,as China’s economy by the high quality development stage of high-speed development stage,its complex historical background of enterprise,and railway building highly integrated business model and a simple traditional way of management and management difficulties,a few years ago with the rapid change of the development of the state-owned enterprises,the company how to improve employee job satisfaction,effectively prevent the loss of talent,improve their core competitiveness become the organization’s subject,improve employee job satisfaction,therefore,is a very worth studying problem.This paper collects and sorts out relevant literature on employee job satisfaction through literature analysis,systematically organizes various theoretical viewpoints,and studies the influencing factors of employee job satisfaction through literature comparison.USES the questionnaire survey to Z state-owned company employees as investigation object,analyze the factors affecting employees’ job satisfaction,relying on the JDI scale and Sir Kan Shi&Jia Lu of employee job satisfaction scale in our country,the design shall be such as theoretical basis,from the work itself,work reward,working environment,personal development,corporate management,interpersonal relationship factors to the six dimensions35 to collect respondents on job satisfaction;By using statistical analysis method to analyze the survey results,the existing problems of Z company’s employees’ job satisfaction are summarized,and corresponding improvement measures are proposed.The overall score of Z company’s employees’ job satisfaction is 3.1,which is a general level and needs to be improved urgently.Statistical analysis was conducted on the scores of each dimension.The results showed that the average score of influencing factors of employee satisfaction in Z company was ranked from high to low in the following order: working environment,business management,personal development,work return and interpersonal relationship.The problems of Z company’s employees’ job satisfaction are mainly reflected in the unreasonable salary structure,imperfect training system,lack of promotion opportunities,reduced but not increased welfare benefits,and lack of effective incentive mechanism.In view of the existing problems,the paper proposes to accelerate the establishment of a modern enterprise system,improve the salary,performance and training system,establish a career planning system,strengthen party building and other improvement measures.The conclusion of this study is that employee job satisfaction is the result of the interpretation of job characteristics by employees according to their self-characteristics.Each employee has different performance in influencing factors of employee job satisfaction due to his/her gender,education background,age,position,etc.Therefore,improvement and improvement of employee job satisfaction should be combined with employee characteristics and gradually improved according to different influencing factors.
