| The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is the economic,political and cultural center of China.It is also the region with the worst air quality and the most contradiction between resources and economic development.How to maintain stable economic growth and energy efficiency in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region at the same time is both a challenge and an opportunity for the government.Generally speaking,the energy consumption as synchronous index of economic development,is can reflect the energy and economic trends,the economic growth and energy consumption of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,however,appeared the phenomenon of "out of sync",due to the direction of the causal relationship between the two is different,the government regulation policy,take the regulation scheme will also be different.Under this background,the Beijing-TianjinHebei region for the quantitative study of the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth,can reveal the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region nonlinear relationship in a specific time,enrich the research Angle of view of energy consumption and economic growth,improve the influence factors of economic growth,for the sustainable development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region economy to provide theoretical support.Based on the data of heterogeneous energy consumption and regional GDP in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 1995 to 2017,this paper uses descriptive statistics,stationary test,MS-VAR model,nonlinear Granger causality test and other methods.This paper explores the nonlinear relationship between heterogeneous energy consumption and economic growth in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in different time zones during1995-2017 from a nonlinear perspective.Heterogeneity of the innovation of this article is: energy consumption not only refers to coal,oil,natural gas,electricity,four kinds of energy consumption,coal energy consumption and oil energy consumption will also be classified as a clean energy consumption,the natural gas energy consumption and electric energy consumption as a clean energy consumption,to highlight the heterogeneity of energy consumption.1.Through descriptive statistical analysis: It is found that the change of energy consumption structure in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is very obvious,but there are still problems in the energy consumption structure,and the proportion of clean energy consumption structure is relatively low.The GDP of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as a whole showed a significant upward trend,and the per capita GDP was also in an upward trend.The growth rate of energy consumption and economic growth in Beijing-TianjinHebei region has been fluctuating up and down,and the degree of change is greater.The growth rate of economic growth,the growth rate of clean energy consumption and the growth rate of non-clean energy consumption all fluctuate significantly,and there is no regularity and periodicity.2.Through the parameter estimation results of MS-VAR model: It is found that no matter which district system,in the long run,the economic growth in the Beijing-TianjinHebei region promotes various energy consumption,and the influence on other energy consumption except electricity is more significant.Increased consumption of oil,gas,and clean energy can drive economic growth;Consumption of coal,electricity and non-clean energy has held back economic growth.3.Through the Nonlinear Granger Causality Test: In a long time,economic growth in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region can promote coal consumption,oil consumption and economic growth are causal,there is a causal relationship between economic growth and non-clean energy consumption,natural gas,electricity,clean energy consumption and economic growth have no causal relationship. |
