Under the background of modern design,symbolism as a design language is widely used in all walks of life and developed towards industrialization,and the support of relevant national policies,the intuitive need of selling and the long-term plan of cultural dissemination make Chinese 12 Zodiac products have a broad development space and prospect in the design of cultural and creative products.At the same time,Zodiac culture has a rich historical heritage,is one of China’s important traditional culture.this project mainly takes Chinese 12 Zodiac elements as the research object and cultural creative products as the presentation carrier,combines the contemporary advanced technology conditions and a variety of artistic expression forms,continues the vitality of traditional Chinese 12 Zodiac culture and injects a vivid atmosphere of the times.In this paper,we explain the unique cultural connotation of Chinese 12 Zodiac to consumers in a more modern aesthetic form.This paper is based on the theoretical research of symbolism to design the Chinese 12 Zodiac culture and creativity.The theoretical foundation of the article is laid,and the relevance and application of symbolism theory and Chinese 12 Zodiaccreative design are explained,as well as the case study of Chinese 12 Zodiac products are analyzed to summarize the experience that can be learned.We summarize the symbolic evolution of Chinese 12 Zodiac products from the perspective of symbolism theory,analyze the symbolism of Chinese 12 Zodiac products from the perspective of semantic structure,semantics and semantic use,and use consumers between the ages of 20 and 30 as the research objects,distribute questionnaires and analyze and summarize,so as to The research was conducted with the consumers between 20 and 30 years old,and the questionnaires were distributed and summarized to clarify the objectives of the following creative design.Finally,we summarize the design method and design practice of Chinese 12 Zodiac.Through the design strategies of respecting the form of re-creation design,giving the Chinese zodiac cultural semantics,enriching the presentation style of the Chinese zodiac,and the expression methods of simplifying,element transformation,element substitution and contrast unification,as well as the methods of image coding,indication coding and symbolic coding of the Chinese 12 Zodiac graphics,the system prototype of the Chinese 12 Zodiac is deduced.The creative design of the Chinese 12 Zodiac logo,graphics and auxiliary graphics is based on the concepts of cultural heritage,practical function,green design and the principles of order of priority,unity of style and keeping up with the times.Through the demand of consumers for Chinese 12 Zodiac creative products,we analyzed Chinese 12 Zodiac creative products with the theory of symbolism to provide a reliable basis for the design,to give the products practicality and artistry,to move the hearts of consumers and to arouse their resonance.We also repeatedly examine the effect of Chinese 12 Zodiaccreative design in front of consumers,pay attention to color coordination,and give symbolic meaning and cultural connotation,so as to create a set of Chinese 12 Zodiac cultural products that meet modern aesthetic standards,keep up with the times and are loved by consumers,and provide reference for future scholars’ research and design practice.The design practice provides reference for future scholars.
