Engaged in the application of nuclear technology,Company M applies irradiation processing technology to a number of civil industries.The Company was formerly a department of a large state-owned enterprise in District C of City A.After reorganization of the state-owned enterprise,Company M was transformed into a subsidiary of an independent legal person in 2012.With a promising application prospect,especially with the continuous expansion of China’s foreign relations,Company M embraces the rising scale of export business and increasing demands for nuclear technology processing,boasting a broad potential market.However,due to the poor construction of the internal management system,especially problems in human resources management,the Company encountered frequent turnover of employees,which not only hinders its development,but also endangers its survival in the long run.For this reason,from the perspective of human resources management,this paper studied the problem of employee turnover faced by Company M and searched for effective solutions.First of all,this thesis expounded the research theories and achievements on employee turnover in literature.Secondly,it carried out survey and collected data on the turnover of employees in Company M,and identified the characteristics of the turnover of employees.Thirdly,according to the actual situation of the Company,this thesis designed survey questionnaire and interview questionnaire.Then,in light of the historical literature review research method,the combination of theory and practice method,and the case study method,this study analyzed survey and interview results of employees and summarized the causes of employee turnover to unclear job responsibilities,lack of training measures,and unreasonable incentive mechanism.Finally,after clarifying the reasons behind employee turnover,this paper adopted the theoretical basis of employee turnover concept,competency theory,incentive theory,corporate culture theory,etc.,and put forward the corresponding solutions to the current employee turnover problem,namely,clarifying job responsibilities,improving employee training management,and optimizing incentive mechanism.Based on the research on the employee turnover of Company M,this thesis found out the problems behind its human resources management,and proposed corresponding solutions in combination with the actual situation of Company M.For one thing,efforts are made to enhance the stability and loyalty of employees,which is helpful to realize the Company’s sustainable strategic goal of operation and stabilize its long-term development.For another,the solution to the problem of employee turnover in Company M can also provide some inspiration and reference for similar problems in other nuclear technology application enterprises.
