Space reactor device is the organic combination of small nuclear reactor and space engineering.In the design of space nuclear reactor,the determination of design parameters is obtained after the coupling iteration of nuclear physics,reactor thermal engineering and other disciplines,including the comprehensive consideration of safety,reliability and other factors.At present,the design parameters of space nuclear reactor are mainly determined by empirical or semi empirical design methods,so it is difficult to give the best design scheme of the reactor.In this paper,by focusing on the core,radiation radiator,regenerator and other key system components,the thermal performance analysis model of the reactor system is established.Based on the design objectives of the total weight,efficiency and reliability of the reactor system,the design scheme design and the optimization analysis of design parameters of the thermal system of the small helium xenon cooled reactor are carried out.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows.(1)System program building and verification.Based on the literature research,the basic models of each component are selected and determined.The calculation models of single channel steady-state thermal hydraulic,reactor pressure vessel,heat pipe radiation radiator,energy conversion device and primary surface recuperator are designed,and the corresponding evaluation program is compiled by FORTRAN language.According to the Prometheus plan and the design steady-state parameters of S~4reactor of submergence subcritical reactor in the United States,the evaluation program is used for design and calculation,and the error between the calculation results and the design results is smaller,which verifies the reliability of each equipment evaluation program.(2)According to the relevant design parameters of S4 reactor,using the evaluation program,the sensitivity analysis of relevant design parameters and scheme optimization are carried out.Through the sensitivity analysis of single parameter,the influence of relevant parameters on system efficiency and quality is judged,and the five key parameters,namely,the regenerator regeneration degree,core inlet temperature,core flow rate,compressor pressure ratio and turbine internal efficiency,are determined in the thermal system of he xenon cooled reactor.The value range of key parameters is further determined according to the multi parameter sensitivity analysis.Taking these five parameters as the optimization variables,under the given constraints,taking the efficiency and quality of the system as the objectives,the optimization scheme of the primary system of the small helium xenon cooled reactor is obtained.In this paper,the construction of thermal hydraulic system and the selection of key parameters for small gas cooled reactor are completed.It is of certain reference significance to put forward the system design scheme later.
