Research On Contemporary Tea Space Design Based On Narrative Theory

Tea culture has experienced thousands of years of development history and is one of the representatives of China’s fine traditional culture.Its rich traditional aesthetics and philosophy of life are widely respected by people.Tea space is an important place for tea culture and the development of tea culture.The product of evolution has always been one of the indispensable space places in people’s leisure life.The changes in the form of tea space are closely related to the tea culture and customs in different regions of China.Nowadays,the design of tea space has a trend of solidification and uniform form.The space lacks the corresponding cultural connotation,and the space language is boring.Due to the advancement of modernization,it gradually pays attention to the development of its business model and ignores its cultural nature.Guided by narrative theory,this article explores the common points of narrative space design through the study of narrative theory and narrative space theme formulation,narrative structure construction,plot layout,and rhetorical methods of spatial language expression.The relationship between it and the tea space and the feasibility of introducing narrative theory into contemporary tea space design research,explore the role of narrative theory in tea space design research,and finally construct the narrative of contemporary tea space Design method strategy.This article is divided into six parts: The first part introduces the research background and a summary of the research status,analyzes the existing problems of contemporary tea space,and proposes to use narrative theory as a guide to introduce contemporary tea space design and research,through space narration To enhance the connection between contemporary tea space and tea culture and its spatial atmosphere.The second part is a specific study of narrative theory,starting from the theory itself,then to the research field of space design guided by theory,and finally analyzing the feasibility of using narrative theory to guide contemporary tea space design.The third part is the study of space design methods under the guidance of narrative theory,combined with actual cases to analyze space narrative design methods,and provide method ideas for the design practice of narrative tea space.The fourth part is to analyze contemporary tea space design methods from the three aspects of design principles,space forms,and space language expressions,analyze narrative space design methods compared with actual cases,and construct contemporary tea space design methods and strategies under the guidance of narrative theory.The fifth part is the design practice,which is the application and implementation of the theory of the preliminary research and the design strategy of the tea space design,and uses the practical design as a methodological demonstration.The sixth part is to summarize the full text and the deficiencies in the research and prospects for the future.This article finally uses the design plan of the "Return to Field" tea room to demonstrate the narrative techniques of contemporary tea space,from four aspects: theme formulation under the background of culture and nature,linear narrative structure interlaced between active and passive narrative spaces,and fluctuations with the spatial plot.The wave form arrangement and the narrative rhetoric of the space language are analyzed and stated separately as a method of design research,which echoes the final theme of the article.
