The Narrative Research Of Architectural Space

The Narratology from the1960s have been proposed until now experienced only about half a century, but the narrative extend the application of the doctrine very quickly. Narrative as a basic behavioral activity, unconscious place in people’s daily communication, literature, architecture design, its existence long before it was formally proposed and studied time. Many contemporary Chinese cities have lost their original style, especially the chase between the modernization process of the city showing the similarity of all articles dry and monotonous. In this context, narrative thinking on how to create a highly readable and has regional characteristics of urban and architectural space provides a new perspective.In the second section of this paper, on the narrative of the origin and development of architectural narrative gives a brief introduction to the elements of architectural narrative, narrative thinking, do a narrative description of the purpose of literature, film, landscape design of the building to analyze the impact of the narrative, a clearer understanding of narrative theory in the use of space in the building material foundation and thinking.
