Study On Evaluation And Protection Towards Water Cultural Heritage Of Yongding River(Beijing Daxing Section)

Yongding River is the largest river flowing through Beijing and a major river in the northern part of the Haihe River.The alluvial-diluvial fan of the Yongding River provides a vast geographical space,fertile soil and necessary water for Beijing City.During the historical period,Beijing residents left a large amount of water cultural heritage in the process of controlling and using Yongding River.These water cultural heritages are the testimonies of the integration of Beijing residents and Yongding River,which have important historical,scientific and artistic value.However,with the rapid progress of urbanization,the water cultural heritage of the Yongding River has been destroyed to varying degrees and most of the water cultural heritage has not been taken seriously.In order to protect and utilize the water cultural heritage of the Yongding River better,play its role in the cultural construction of the Beijing,it is necessary to investigate and evaluate the water cultural heritage of the Yongding River,and propose protection countermeasures.In history,the Yongding River(Beijing Daxing Section)has been flooded frequently.The residents of Daxing have left many water cultural heritages in the process of controlling and using the Yongding River.This study aimed at cultural heritage of the Yongding River(Beijing Daxing Section).The data research,field investigation,residents’ visits and expert consultation were used to studied the types and characteristics of water cultural heritage in the area.The delphi method and analytic hierarchy process were used to evaluate the comprehensive value of physical water cultural heritage and the suggestions for the protection were raised.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)It is concluded that the study area contains material water cultural heritages such as Qiu Xian dam,Dyke,monument in Yongding River God shrine,ferry,etc..Intangible cultural heritage contains such as Xiangsao,Piling,willow weaving and so on.It is found that the water cultural heritage of the study area has problems such as weathering of cultural relics,destruction of environment authenticity,water environmental pollution,water shortages,management omissions and isolation of heritage sites.(2)Established a water cultural heritage evaluation system to evaluate the comprehensive value of the tangible water cultural heritage of the Yongding River(Beijing Daxing section).It is concluded that the Qiuxian dam has the highest comprehensive value score of 83.3595 points which built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty,indicating that it has high historical,scientific and cultural values.It should be protected well.(3)Combining the survey results of preservation and management of and the comprehensive value evaluation results of water cultural heritage in the Yongding River(Beijing Daxing section),we put forward proposals the protection countermeasures,such as ontology protection,ecological protection,strengthened management and corridor construction.this result could offer the references for the protection,utilization and design of the Yongding River(Beijing Daxing Section)water cultural heritage.This research will be good at improving the protection measures for the water cultural heritage of the Yongding River(Beijing Daxing Section),filling the gaps in the research on the water cultural heritage of the region.This research will contribute to inherit,carry forward and revitalize Beijing culture and useful for the develop rural tourism and revitalize rural economy.
