Research On The Color Style And Features Of The 20th Century Architectural Heritage Of Beijing Old City

The color style of Beijing old city not only lies in the traditional style of gray tone formed in Ming and Qing dynasties,but also the architectural development in the 20 th century is an important part of the color diversity of Beijing old city,which is an important embodiment of the diversity of the elements of Beijing city color style.However,due to the lack of recognition of its uniqueness and important value,as well as the lack of special protection measures,this part of the building in the architectural heritage is in an awkward situation.In recent years,the architectural heritage of the 20 th century selected by the Architectural Society is regarded as the outstanding representative of the modern architectural heritage.This paper will take this as the research object to discuss the color style of the city.The architectural heritages of the 20 th century have obvious characteristics of The Times,and are of various kinds,which are distributed centrally in the old city of Beijing.This paper hope through to the Beijing old city architectural heritage color style in the 20 th century,with quantitative data record its status quo,thus summed up the color value of the Beijing old city architectural heritage in the 20 th century,to fill the previous color style in the old research blank in the field of modern architecture,accelerate the pace of the conservation and renewal of old city color view overall.First of all,by summarizing relevant researches on geographical chromology at home and abroad,we sort out practical cases and learn some excellent cases and successful experiences in combination with the development process of architectural heritage in the 20 th century,which can be used for reference in this study.This study summarizes the basic characteristics of the architectural heritage samples of the 20 th century in the old city,such as the completion time,spatial distribution,architectural style,etc.,to form a research sample database.Then,the Munsell international standard color system is used to measure and record the architectural colors of the sample points quantitatively.The main color and auxiliary color of the building are determined according to the color distribution area.Data statistics are carried out from the three dimensions of hue,lightness and brilliance,and the results are analyzed.Follow the Beijing city master plan(2016-2035)in the old city overall protection principle,through the statistics and analysis of data,it is concluded that the Beijing old city architectural heritage in the 20 th century colour spectrum,from ancient five-color system essence,compared with traditional color style of study,put forward the characteristics and value of architectural heritage color style in the 20 th century.Then,from the numerical representation of color style,the paper probes into its causes,and comprehensively discusses the specific causes of architectural color style in the 20 th century from three aspects: rational factors,deterioration factors and observation factors.On the basis of the above research conclusions,combining with the thoughts and principles of traditional architectural heritage protection,this paper puts forward the targeted protection principles of the color style of architectural heritage in the 20 th century from the theoretical perspective,and puts forward the corresponding activation and utilization strategies based on the practical operation.
