| With the increase of population and motor vehicles,urban traffic is increasingly under tremendous pressure.Road traffic can not meet the normal travel needs of people,and can not provide effective support for the economic development of the city.Research on the carrying capacity of urban traffic infrastructure can find out the factors that have the greatest impact on urban traffic at present.Through timely investment and improvement of these factors and the formulation of relevant policies to effectively improve,so as to alleviate the current urban traffic problems.At present,there are many methods to study the carrying capacity of transportation infrastructure.In this paper,entropy method and composite index method are used to study the carrying capacity of urban transportation infrastructure.After calculating the traffic carrying capacity of 18 cities from 2014 to 2019,it is found that the contribution of traffic resources to the carrying capacity is much higher than that of traffic environment.Among the more specific factors,the area ratio of transportation facilities,the weight of the average urban highway mileage per 10000 people and the road network density have a greater impact on the urban transportation infrastructure.These three aspects need to be focused on to improve the carrying capacity.Among the 18 cities studied,the carrying capacity of transportation infrastructure in Hefei and Changsha is much higher than that in other cities,which means that for the carrying capacity of urban transportation,the faster the economic development,the larger the city scale or the longer the urban road is,the higher the carrying capacity is.The most appropriate carrying capacity level needs to adapt to the traffic demand of the city Only when the supply of transportation system and people’s demand for transportation reach a coordinated state,the carrying capacity of urban transportation infrastructure can be maintained at a higher level.When the level of carrying capacity is too high,it will lead to redundant carrying capacity,resulting in a lot of idle and waste of investment resources.Therefore,attention should be paid to the degree of coordination in urban construction,and the uncoordinated investment structure should be adjusted in time. |
