Since the 1970 s,IUCN/UNEP/WW and other organizations have proposed the concept of sustainable development in the World Nature Conservation Framework,which has sparked concern for ecological conservation.This paper focuses on the problems of inadequate infrastructure and tight parking spaces brought about by inadequate planning in old neighborhoods,which affect the quality of life of residents while adding to the burden of the city and affecting the process of sustainable urban development.The old neighborhoods in Beijing are in urgent need of renovation,but there is not enough relevant research at this stage.This paper applies the environmental carrying capacity to the study of the renewal and renovation of old neighborhoods to provide guidance for the renovation of old neighborhoods.In this paper,the environmental carrying capacity and old neighborhoods are studied.For the environmental carrying capacity,the literature research method is used to sort out the relevant literature,identify the homogeneity theory,and then analyze the research scope of the environmental carrying capacity based on the ecological carrying ladder theory,and finally explain the relationship between the community and the urban environmental system,as well as the identification and extraction of the community environmental elements.The concept of old neighborhoods is defined,and relevant renovation methods and cases are understood.Taking the old neighborhoods within the Shichahai area as an example,the existing problems are collected and the common problems are found.The bearing elements of the problems are analyzed through the bearing capacity perspective to clarify the problems of old neighborhoods.Empirical investigation is conducted using a combination of subjective and objective methods.Through the actual research to derive the community bearing problem and construct the index system,use the entropy value method to analyze the value of the bearing capacity of Shichahai street;design a special questionnaire to investigate the satisfaction of the residents in Aiminli neighborhood.Combining the indexes and questionnaire results to construct the community environmental carrying capacity discriminant matrix,and judging the priority of changing the old neighborhood according to the matrix information.Conclusion:(1)In the study of environmental carrying capacity system,through the analysis of environmental carrying capacity concept,research scope analysis and carrying relationship,it is concluded that community as a kind of carrying platform exists in the urban environmental carrying capacity system,and finally,based on the empirical evidence,the carrying capacity research framework is further supplemented.(2)In terms of empirical research,through the analysis of the carrying capacity indexes of the old neighborhoods in Shichahai district,it is concluded that the community space in the district is the most important,and combined with the questionnaire,it is analyzed that if the Aiminli district is renewed,priority should be given to the renewal of activity space,especially the parking problem;secondly,the infrastructure and garbage disposal are improved,and activities are organized to increase the participation of residents;finally,greening transformation is carried out.And give specific solutions to countermeasures. |
