With the rapid and in-depth development of the automobile industry in our country,the demand for talents with strong automobile related professional ability is increasing day by day in society and automobile industry enterprises.In order to train applied talents with both the oretical basis,strong professional ability and dedication spirit,we must be equipped with automobile professional teachers with strong professional ability.Having a strong professional ability of automotive teachers is the key to improve students’ professional ability in secondary vocational schools.Thus it can be seen that the improvement of the professional ability of automobile teachers in secondary vocational school is the key and core issue of the quality of running a secondary vocational school.At present,the automobile major set up in secondary vocational schools is mainly the major of automobile application and maintenance,new energy vehicle maintenance and so on.Other automotive related majors offer fewer or only relevant courses in secondary vocational schools.Among the two major specialties,the teachers are mainly the major of automobile application and maintenance,supplemented by the transfer teachers of other specialties.Due to the rapid development of new automobile technology in recent years,such as new energy technology,intelligent network automobile technology,driverless technology and so on,automobile professional teachers are required to have the consciousness and ability of independent development and lifelong learning in order to keep up with the development of the times.Improving the professional ability of automobile professional teachers has become an urgent problem to be solved in the professional education,teaching and professional construction of secondary vocational cars.According to the investigation,There is still a lot of room for improvement in the professional ability of automotive teachers in secondary vocational schools.With the support of lifelong learning theory,Marx’s view of practice and competency-based theory,this paper takes the secondary vocational automobile professional teachers as the research object,using the methods of investigation,literature research,interview research and so on.First of all,through a large number of literature reading and summary,this paper studies the connotation of the professional ability of automobile teachers in secondary vocational schools.Combined with the requirements of the "Secondary Vocational School Teachers Professional Standard(trial)" issued by the Ministry of Education in 2013 for vocational education teachers and the professional ability requirements of the "1+ X" certificate system in the field of automobile maintenance for secondary vocational automobile professional teachers,the concept and composition of the professional ability of secondary vocational automobile professional teachers are defined.Secondly,according to the analysis,the author obtains the composition of the professional ability of the secondary vocational automobile teachers and sets up a questionnaire,carries on the questionnaire survey to the front-line secondary vocational automobile professional teachers and students,at the same time carries on the thorough interview to the secondary vocational automobile professional teachers and the automobile enterprise practitioners.Through the statistics and analysis of the survey results and interview contents,it is concluded that there are some main problems in the current situation of professional ability of automobile teachers in secondary vocational schools,such as the lack of professional development and lifelong learning ability,the lack of teaching reform and scientific research ability,the weakness of automobile professional skills and practical training teaching ability,and the weak teaching design ability.And further analysis of the main reason is the secondary vocational automobile professional teachers.The sense of professional identity is low,the demand for teacher development is less concerned,the awareness of personal development is not strong,the motive force of scientific research is insufficient,the implementation of enterprise practice is not in place,and the teaching and scientific research environment and lifelong learning consciousness are not strong.On this basis,a series of national vocational education policies,represented by the reform of the "three religions" and the "1+X" certificate system in the field of automobile maintenance,require the professional ability of the automobile professional teachers in secondary vocational schools.From the local government level,the school level and the individual level,this paper puts forward the establishment of special institutions to promote the professional development of secondary vocational automobile professional teachers,the creation of a good scientific research platform to stimulate secondary vocational automobile professional teachers to improve teachers’ teaching and scientific research ability,the strengthening of school-enterprise cooperation to enhance the professional skills and practical training teaching ability of secondary vocational automobile professional teachers,and the establishment of curriculum ideological and political promotion mechanism based on the characteristics of secondary vocational automobile professional courses.Set up a reasonable structure of information teaching team to improve the ability of information teaching and other strategies.It is hoped that this study can provide useful reference for the cultivation of professional ability of automobile teachers in secondary vocational schools.
