Study And Practice Of Swedish Citylab Sustainable Urban Design Guidelines

With the rapid development of China’s urbanization,China has entered a critical period of ecological civilization construction,which has raised higher requirements for the sustainable development of cities.Under such a background,how to deal with the relationship among environment,society and economy to form a set of relatively advanced and feasible sustainable urban design methods has become the focus of urban designers.In this paper,Citylab sustainable urban design guidelines developed by SGBC urban design laboratory are selected as the research object.Based on this,practices and experiments are conducted to explore a path of sustainable urban design in China in view of the problems in the process of sustainable urban development in China.The first part discusses the current situation and main problems of sustainable urban practice in China.Combing the practice course in our country,choose a new eco-city,Shenzhen light district two different types of typical eco-cities cases were analyzed,and the problem of sustainable urban design of present China hole due to technical standard,evaluation system with single driver source standard tedious,long-term management carry on four aspects,it is concluded that need a set of cohesion theory,guide the practice.The second part is the core of this paper,sorting out and introducing the content and practice approach of Citylab guidelines.Firstly,the content of Citylab guidelines is sorted out,including five parts: overall objectives,existing conditions,vision,process management,focus areas and definition list.Then,how to connect all parts of the guidelines by means of "indicators" and "guidelines" to form a method system is explained.After from guideline to guide the design of comprehensive,flexibility,interdisciplinarity process control management of long-term,the integrity of the multiparty cooperation four aspects of induction Citylab guideline to guide the practice of path,in Stockholm,Sweden,the royal harbor city and Campus Albano as an example is analyzed,its response to the potential of urban sustainable development in our country.The third part analyzes the sustainable urban design practice in Changzhou Tianning district which the author participated in,and tests and discusses the possibility of using Citylab guidelines for sustainable urban design in the more developed areas of China’s social and economic development.From theoretical research to practice,this paper explores the application of Swedish Citylab sustainable urban design guidelines in China,providing reference for the construction of sustainable urban design methods in China.
