Building Information Modeling(BIM)has gradually expanded its application from industrial and civil construction to almost all engineering construction fields after years of development in China.The applications and researchs of BIM technology in bridge engineering are also in full swing.The bridge project has a complex structure,many special-shaped components,and a large volume.In order to improve the design efficiency and accuracy,the use of BIM technology for parametric and intelligent design will be a new development direction in bridge engineering.In the context of the rapid development of Bridge Information Modeling(BrIM)technology,this thesis carries out the research on the BIM-based parametric design of the concrete tower.The specific contents of the research are as follows:(1)The application status of BIM technology in bridge engineering and the research status of BIM-based parametric design are sorted out;the functional characteristics of mainstream BIM parametric design platforms on the market are compared,and the modeling idea for secondary development based on Revit software is determined.(2)The design drawings,research papers and standard specifications of the tower are extensively collected and sorted,and the parameters of the tower are sorted and summarized;five types of common cross-section tower columns and four types of common beams are summarized as the research objects of parametric modeling.(3)Two WPF applications are developed with C# language on Visual Studio2017 platform—“Modeling plug-in for concrete tower of suspension bridge” and “Modeling plugin for beam prestressed tendons”,which realize the parametric generation of five types of common cross-section tower columns and four types of common beams as well as the beam prestressed tendons.(4)Based on the parametric modeling plug-ins,different schemes for the tower of Nizhou Channel Bridge are quickly created through inputing parameters,then the form of tower is selected,and these plug-ins are used to deepen the design of the scheme decided to adopt;according to the research on the modeling functions of regular reinforcement in Revit API,the regular reinforcements of lower pylon column for Nizhou Channel Bridge are created by programming with C# language;according to the three-dimensional model,the engineering quantity of tower are counted,the detailed lists are generated,the CAD design drawings are output,and the member system finite element model and solid finite element model are quickly established.
