For the development of the national economy,highway transportation plays an important role.With the deepening of China-Africa cooperation,China has provided solid technical and financial support for road construction in the Republic of Congo.At the same time,because of its many advantages,asphalt pavement has gradually been widely used.Considering that the mileage of the Republic of the Congo national highway is increasing year by year,and the current maintenance and repair still have low technical content,the lack of a solid economic foundation,and other conditions.Therefore,it is necessary to actively explore the design method of the pavement structure,which is suitable for China in combination with the climatic conditions,traffic volume,and pavement disease conditions.By introducing modern maintenance technology and new pavement materials,we can design the asphalt suitable for different regions of China.Pavement structure can extend the service life of the pavement,ensure the safety of the pavement.create good traffic conditions,and reduce the cost of maintenance as much as possible.First of all,in this paper,the physical and geographical conditions,hydrogeological conditions,and main disease forms of the Republic of the Congo are investigated and collected.This paper focuses on the structural type and application of the asphalt pavement in the Republic of the Congo.Through the corresponding statistical analysis,the representative form of payment structure in the Republic of the Congo is determined.Based on the general survey of the Republic of the Congo’s asphalt pavement design data,the pavement structure can be divided into different structure types.At the same time,according to the different functional areas of the Republic of the Congo Road,select typical sections of various structures for key investigation.Based on the investigation of the traffic volume of different typical road sections at rush hours,the composition of traffic load in different areas is determined,and the cumulative standard equivalent axle times in the design life are predicted.Through the combination of theory,the design lower limit of soil foundation strength is analyzed and determined,and on this basis,different soil foundation strength grades are divided.The bearing capacity of different pavement structures after different years of operation is analyzed qualitatively through the resilient reflection test.Through the core drilling sampling of the pavement,the mechanical properties of the old road base material and the material composition of the surface layer are evaluated,providing the basic test data for the recommendation of the typical structure.According to the actual investigation of pavement structure combination,this study carried out a mechanical response analysis to investigate the mechanical response of different structure combinations under the standard load.By using the control variable method,the influence of the thickness and modulus of different surface course and base course on the design indexes such as bending tensile strain,bending tensile stress and shear stress is analyzed to provide theoretical support for determining the typical pavement structure.By selecting the common road building materials of the Republic of the Congo and using the typical mixture ratio of asphalt pavement materials,the test pieces are made on-site,and the design parameters are measured,so as to determine the representative value of design parameters.Finally,in this study,by using the elastic layered system design software BISAR 3.0 and French ALIZE software,the mechanical response of the typical pavement structure under the design load is calculated,and the influence of each design parameter on the mechanical response of the pavement is analyzed.Then,the mechanical response of the typical pavement structure is analyzed by using the finite element software ABAQUS,and the influence of pavement design parameters on the mechanical response of pavement is studied.Through calculation and analysis,the reasonable structure combination of the asphalt pavement is determined,and the typical structure of the asphalt pavement in different regions of the Republic of the Congo is recommended.
