This article investigates and summarizes the natural environment(climate,hydrology),traffic conditions,and geology of the Pearl River Delta.By investigating and summarizing the asphalt pavement that has already been put into use,it is found that the construction conditions in the area are relatively harsh,with high temperatures and heavy rain,and the load levels are high.Soft foundations and other factors have become an important consideration in the design of asphalt pavement structures and materials.Ruts and cracks have become the two main forms of pavement structural failure.Through the reference of domestic and foreign literature and structural design experience,combined with local successful practical experience and construction conditions,four types of pavement structures are recommended.Pavement structure in soft soil generally exists settlement.Even settlement will not damage the pavement structure.Uneven settlement will generate additional stress and threaten the safety of the pavement structure.In this paper,using finite element analysis method,a Guangzhou-Jiangmen high-speed as the object of study,using ABAQUS software to simulate the settlement of the pavement structure,using a simplified approximation model for simulation,analysis of factors affecting the settlement of road surface structure in soft soil.The weiyi.for subroutine was used to reduce the differential settlement and apply additional stress analysis to the pavement structure.The adaptability of the four kinds of pavement structures to the uneven settlement was obtained,and the structural factors of the pavement that affected the additional stress were analyzed.HPDS pavement structure design software and ABAQUS software were used to analyze the mechanical response of the pavement structure under load,such as shear stress,tensile stress and tensile strain.Four types of pavement structures under load were analyzed from the generated stress and strain magnitudes.Fatigue performance and structural stability,changing the structural layer parameters to analyze the trend of stress and strain changes,and proposed ways and measures to improve the performance of different pavement structures.Based on the soft foundation and traffic grade,combined with the conclusion of the additional stress analysis and the mechanical response analysis under load,combined with examples,the asphalt pavement structure under different traffic grades and soft soil depth combinations is recommended.On the basis of the asphalt pavement specification,the splitting strength must also be checked to ensure that the pavement structure does not crack under the effect of load and additional stress.
