The architecture education in modern China was born in the course of the rapid change of Chinese society.In terms of the historical research on the advantages and disadvantages of education in early Chinese architecture,it is necessary to understand not only the development of education itself,but also the historical background of modern China,as well as the mutual influence and mutual promotion between education system and the whole social and historical background.Education is an important part of Chinese architecture education.Studying architecture education of local universities is beneficial to comprehensively understand and analyze the process of China’s modern and modern architecture education,reflect on the success or failure of China’s early architecture education,and gain experience worthy of reference.The article adopts the method of "historical unity" research,collect the parts of the history,which,activities to commemorate the article,such as literature,in the last century 50 to60 s local colleges and universities in China in the early construction aim of education,history,teaching system,curriculum,teaching style,faculty)content such as a comprehensive study,to comb some basic features of the early Chinese architectural education.In this context,the architecture major of hebei university of technology,which was established in 1958,was selected as a case to carry out in-depth research work such as oral history investigation and interview,historical literature collection and collection,and file search,so as to form a more specific understanding of early architecture education of local universities in China.Studying architecture education of local universities can provide important reference for summarizing its early development achievements and characteristics,which is helpful for local universities to inherit teaching concepts and characteristics,and explore the development path that conforms to the history and reality of local universities.Moreover,the in-depth research can also be a useful supplement to the research on the history of modern Chinese architecture and the history of Chinese architecture education.
