The process of urban modernization has brought great influence to the hydrological environment of the original city.Due to the rapid progress of urbanization and unreasonable development and construction in China,problems such as shortage of water resources,pollution of water resources,serious water accumulation after urban rainstorms and lowering of groundwater levels have been brought to cities.The core of "sponge city" is to use the concept of low impact development to construct a good "resilience" of the city in adapting to environmental changes and natural disasters.As far as urban flooding is concerned,"sponge city" refers to a new type of ecological urban development and construction mode that can play a role in water penetration,stagnant water,water storage,water purification,water use and water drainage,and can "release" the stored water for use when needed,with the fundamental goal of realizing the natural accumulation,natural penetration and natural purification of rainwater.The way of rainwater treatment in urban communities has great effect on the development of hydrological environment in areas near cities.Sponge city concept residential quarters in the planning and construction process reasonably arrange the utilization and treatment of water in residential quarters from the comprehensive benefits of residential quarters and fully consider the "sponge" suitability of existing environment in residential quarters to protect water security,save water resources and effectively solve the problem of internal water logging within the region.Taking the construction and transformation of sponge urban residential area as the research object,this paper discusses the research background of sponge city residential quarters,such as the ecological environment problem brought about by the rapid development of urbanization,combs the policy and ideas of sponge city construction in China,and defines the concept of low-impact development and sponge city community.This paper discusses and analyzes some excellent overseas construction modes of sponge city such as best management practice,water sensitive city design,sustainable drainage system etc.and defines the concept of low-impact development and sponge city community.This paper discusses and analyzes some excellent overseas construction modes of sponge city such as best management practice,water sensitive city design,sustainable drainage system etc.and some domestic practice projects under the concept of sponge city construction by using research methods such as literature research,field survey and case analysis,etc.And this paper sums up three basic design principles of sponge city residential quarter,which are overall-planning construction,adaptation to local conditions,safety and practicality,and summarizes three major types of sponge city technical measures,which are infiltration,storage and purification.Finally,in the case analysis part,through the conducting in-depth and detailed analysis of New-World Canton First Estate sponge residential area,this paper explores how to use appropriate sponge construction measures for the G plot in communities,such as sunken green space,rain garden,transmission-type grass ditch and other settings,to achieve a reasonable treatment of water in the community goal.It has been proved in practice that reasonable application of advanced low-impact development technical measures in each digestion unit of sponge city residential quarters can connect landscapes,buildings,roads and other living elements to form a systematic rainwater digestion,circulation and purification system,which can effectively solve the flood disaster in communities,purify the water quality and create a better living environment for the residents in communities.Meanwhile,from the perspective of life-cycle of buildings,sponge measures are set initially in residential quarters,which can reduce the project cost related to water treatment of communities,beautify the natural environment of residential quarters,and achieve good economic and ecological benefits. |
