The following is the statistics of the number of domestic car recalls by the AQSIQ in China.From 2016 to 2018,the number of annual car recalls exceeded 10 million,of which 36 million were in 2016,20 million in 2017 and 13 million in 2018.There are six main quality problems involved in automobile parts,which are transmission system parts defects,instrument parts defects,driving system parts defects,safety system parts defects and new energy vehicle related parts defects.For this reason,the State has issued the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products to regulate the recall of the whole automobile industry,but it is far from enough to rely on the State Administration of Market Supervision to control the automobile industry.This paper takes the quality management problem of W Company as a case,describes the current situation of quality management and the problems faced by W Company,analyzes the problems,and finds out the main reasons for the quality problems: such as weak quality culture,poor implementation of quality management system documents,more production technology problems,quality problems of incoming materials,less use of quality management tools,lack of effective training means,imperfect system of rewards and penalties,unclear division of quality responsibility,and less quality improvement activities.In view of the above problems,this paper puts forward the corresponding quality improvement strategies from the perspective of total quality management,including perfecting the whole process quality management,carrying out the whole staff quality management,strengthening the training of the staff,perfecting the reward and punishment system of quality management,and adopting the whole method quality management.A case study is carried out on the improvement process of flat grinding process.Through a series of measures,the rate of defective products caused by flat grinding process is greatly reduced,the quality of products is improved,and the cost of enterprises is reduced.Because the total quality management is a dynamic management system,with the solution of the old problems,the new quality problems will appear again.W company should constantly improve the quality management system,constantly improve the quality management system in practice,form its own unique quality culture according to the actual situation of W company,and finally raise the total quality management to the development strategy of the enterprise.Through the implementation of TQM,this paper hopes to provide some reference suggestions for other auto parts enterprises or other manufacturing enterprises.
