Research On The Integration Of Old Residential House Type And Space

From the 1970 s to the 1990 s,a large number of urban residential buildings were built in China to meet the growing residential demand.These houses improved the living conditions of the residents at that time and played an important role in the advancement of urbanization in China.With the progress of Chinese society and the rapid development of economy and technology,people’s life pattern has changed.These old and backward houses cannot meet the "residents’ ever-growing needs for a better life".How to improve the living quality of old houses has become a new problem faced by architects in urban renewal.The author found that the city’s old residences are still use fixed number of year,if we can only adopt the way of demolition is a clear breach of our country vigorously promote "sustainable development" strategy,combined with the current actual old residence,so fully considering the basic principles,such as economy,applicable,green,adopt appropriate technology and reasonable renovation,to excavate the value of old residential buildings,make these old houses continue to play its role as the city continues to service.In this thesis,the representative "Donghua Community(South District)" old residential buildings in Kunming city are selected as the case study.Through analyzing the characteristics of residential buildings in this period,and combining with the specific house type characteristics and residents’ requirements,the corresponding renovation plan is designed.During the study adopts the method of site investigation and interview,and consult,studied at home and abroad in the old residential renovation literature and practical results,by contrast,analysis and summary law,the renovation of old residential commonness,and the problems in the transformation,in order to meet the existing residential demand,improve the living quality for the premise,emphatically from the Angle of space integration of the renovation design strategies and methods are put forward.Based on the analysis of the residential example in Donghua Residential area(South District),this paper discusses the renovation strategies and methods of the old residential buildings built on a large scale from 1970 s to 1990 s in China,hoping to provide reference for the renovation of the same type of old residential buildings.
