| At present, traditional villages are facing outstanding problems such as imbalance of style and appearance, homogeneity of space and lack of spatial vitality.Traditional villages are the material carriers of rural culture, and their healthy and orderly development is an important part of the rural revitalization strategy, and in-depth exploration of their spatial form is an important way to protect and inherit traditional villages. There are a large number of traditional villages in southern Hunan, with distinctive regional characteristics. The research on their spatial forms is mostly case analysis, and there are few quantitative analyses. This research is based on multidisciplinary research methods, from the macro to the micro level to refine the spatial characteristics and internal order of the traditional villages in southern Hunan, providing scientific guidance for the future protection and development of the traditional villages in southern Hunan, and assisting the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy. This paper studies 204 traditional villages in southern Hunan as the research object.First, using the nearest neighbor index, imbalance index, geographic concentration index, nuclear density analysis and correlation analysis, analyze the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of traditional villages in southern Hunan from the regional level.,And use the aspect ratio coefficient and shape index to classify the morphological types of the villages;secondly, based on the above analysis results, select 4 typical villages to conduct field investigations, and use spatial syntax,GIS spatial analysis and mathematical analysis to analyze the overall layout of the villages. The street space and building space are analyzed quantitatively and verified with qualitative analysis;finally,a protection and development strategy is proposed based on the development status of the traditional villages in southern Hunan. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The spatial distribution of the traditional villages in southern Hunan is agglomerated and unevenly distributed.Generally,it shows the basic characteristics of "more in the south and less in the north, balanced in the east and west".The high-density areas are Beihu District,Xintian County,Changning County, and Rucheng County is mainly distributed in the border area with neighboring counties;(2)The formation of the spatial pattern of traditional villages in southern Hunan is the result of multiple factors such as natural environment, social economy, history and culture, among which river systems, elevation and population density are significantly negatively correlated with the number of traditional villages. Most traditional villages in southern Hunan The site is selected in the plains, hills or gentle slopes at the edge of mountains with small topography, close to water sources and low population density;(3)Traditional villages in southern Hunan can be divided into group-shaped,finger-shaped and band-shaped according to the boundary morphology, mainly group-shaped villages, with 148,accounting for 75.89%,followed by finger-shaped villages and band-shaped villages;(4)No matter a series of spatial evolution from overall layout, street space to architectural space, the traditional villages of southern Hunan have a certain degree of order, mostly around the core space, showing cohesion Sexuality and concentricity;(5)The protection of traditional villages in southern Hunan should start from the two levels of regional overall protection and individual village protection, and build a networked and systematic protection system to realize the sustainable development of traditional villages. |
