| In recent years,in the context of the booming tourism industry, the rural tourism which takes the countryside as the tourism destination is rising rapidly. Many villagers abandon traditional agricultural planting and develop rural tourism. The social and economic forms of the village have undergone tremendous changes, and the rural space is undergoing rapid restructuring.Traditional village is a unique geographical unit of rural area.Because of its high ornamental value and scientific value,it is often considered as the key object of rural tourism development. The development of tourism in this area has become an important way to promote the prosperity of village industry and realize the revitalization of rural areas.Space is the carrier of social and economic development, which directly reflects the changes of nature, society, economy and history.Under the influence of tourism, the space of Xiushui Village is also facing with a series of problems, such as over commercialization, residents’ daily life being disturbed, serious pollution of ecological space, and rural spatial restructuring has become the real demand.Due to the protection of relevant policies and regulations, traditional villages need to make rational use of village resources to develop industries on the premise of good protection,so the optimization path of spatial restructuring is different from that of ordinary villages.Based on the interpretation of related concepts and theories, this paper takes Xiushui Village as a case study area, comprehensively uses the methods of field research, questionnaire survey, literature research and GIS spatial analysis to summarize the process of tourism development, analyzes the evolution process and characteristics of living-production-ecological space and discusses the driving mechanism of spatial evolution. After identifying the current problems in rural space, this paper puts forward the paths of spatial restructuring of Xiushui Village to promote the sustainable development of rural tourism. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Xiushui Village takes agriculture as its leading industry and is currently in a transitional period of tourism. The tourism development process has experienced three stages, namely, the embryonic stage of rural tourism(1995-1998),the initial stage of rural tourism(1999-2010),and the rapid development stage of rural tourism(2011-now).Since 1999,the tourism model has changed from development and management by residents to joint development and management by the government and residents.(2)The space of Xiushui Village is composed of traditional rural space and new composite space. In the process of transforming to a tourist village, the characteristics of spatial evolution are as follows:living-production space integration development;the production space dominated by agriculture is shrinking, while the living space and living-production space are increasing;transformation from ecological space to living space and production space;living space tends to expand to convenient traffic areas. Its evolution is the result of the combined effects of multiple factors, which are reflected in the spatial differences in resource endowments, location and traffic accessibility, rural tourism market demand, production methods and lifestyle change led by "pioneer farmers",and government guidance and support.(3)When investigating the main stakeholders in the development of the tourism industry,it was found that there are many problems in the living-production-ecological space in Xiushui Village, which are mainly reflected in: the scattered tourism production space makes it difficult to form a development joint force;low level of tourism resources development, fierce competition among tourism villages;the rural infrastructure is backward and the service facilities are low level;the weakening of “rural nature”,the conflict between tradition and modernity;the environmental quality is declining, and the ecological space is shrinking. On this basis, starting from the living-production-ecology space, the spatial restructuring paths are proposed to promote the development of Xiushui tourism. |
