Research On Cross-cultural Issues In Project Management Of China Aerospace Model Engineering

With the rapid development of world economic globalization and the arrival of information economy era,economic cooperation and exchanges between countries are increasing.It has also been seen that more and more people with different cultural backgrounds and languages work in the same project.Therefore,in addition to the traditional project management functions,cross-cultural management has attracted the attention of project managers.Based on Hofstede’s cultural dimension theory,Hall’s high and low context culture theory,cross-cultural communication theory and empirical analysis,the author combines the existing theoretical knowledge of cultural risk and cross-cultural management with large-scale and complex aerospace system engineering projects,and makes a comprehensive analysis of cross-cultural issues in aerospace project management.At the same time,the questionnaire was designed by selecting the research objects from the vertical and horizontal dimensions of a model project.Then through the SPSS tool to analyze the collected data,the research explores the cross-cultural problems and their causes in the model project management.Finally,based on the distinctive characteristics and causes of cross-cultural communication problems in aerospace project management,the author puts forward some effective cross-cultural strategies,such as understanding and respecting each other’s culture,paying attention to communication management and emotional management,and striving for optimizing the project process and resource allocation according to the cultural characteristics of the other party,so as to achieve the goal of international cooperation of cultural integration and win-win benefits.This research is expected to provide valuable reference for the cross-cultural management activities in China’s aerospace projects.
