Over the past two decades,with the opening up of the power industry market,competition among construction companies has become increasingly prominent.If companies want to survive and thrive in the market,the project construction cost control also has higher requirements.The cost control method of small and medium-sized electric power construction enterprises are still remained backward state.For example,cost analysis table,financial accounting method or the use of the management experience accumulated by the company leaders to carry out project cost management.Without the combination of schedule and cost synchronous management,it has been unable to meet the requirements of the market for engineering project cost management.In this context,this paper will X company project cost management as the research object,the research based on the critical path earned value method in the power construction project cost control.First,on the basis of literature review and relevant theoretical knowledge,this paper sorts out and analyzes earned value management and critical path method and cost management knowledge,and then summarizes existing theories to form the theoretical framework of cost management in this paper.Secondly,Secondly,this paper analyzes the current situation of X Company’s power project cost control and points out the existing problems in cost control.According to the earned value management based on critical path method,applied to cost and schedule management,and through the concrete construction project the applicability of the empirical analysis of the scheme.Specific operation is determined by project work breakdown structures,critical path and cost plan,and project implementation of data collection,calculate the earned value parameters and their indicators,selected time point examination,found in the process of the construction cost and schedule variance,and to distinguish between critical and non-critical work to analyze deviation,and find the cause of the deviation,and take effective measures to achieve its will not affect the total cost savings at the same time,to the quality and time limit for a project to maximize project profit.Then,it expounds the implementation effect based on the critical path earned value method,and also finds some difficulties in the implementation of electric power construction project cost control,and puts forward the improvement direction suitable for the needs of the company.
