Packaging Design Of Miao Embroidery Products In Shibadong Village In Western Hunan Based On Ethnicl Folk Culture

Miao embroidery skills are not only an important symbol of Miao culture,but also an indispensable part of our ethnic folk culture.However,the rapid development of society has caused the Miao people to change their original way of life.The Miao clothing is gradually forgotten by the young Miao people,and the Miao embroidery skills are already facing the problem of passing on from generation to generation.In 2006,Miao embroidery skills were selected into the country’s first batch of intangible cultural heritage lists,and people gradually began to pay attention to the traditional embroidery of this ethnic minority.Shibadong Village in Xiangxi is a village where pure Miao live in concentrated communities.It is located in a remote mountainous area,where Miao embroidery skills can retain its uniqueness.In 2013,the strategic idea of precision poverty alleviation was put forward here.With the support of the policy,Shibadong Village listed Miao embroidery as one of the pillar industries.Miao women earn income by using Miao embroidery skills at home.The graduation project was launched in response to the lack of packaging for Miao embroidery products in Shibadong Village.The article starts from the following aspects: The first chapter discusses the background of the subject and the analysis of related research at home and abroad;The second chapter studies the related contents of ethnic folk culture;The third chapter expounds the present situation and existing problems of product packaging in Miao Xiu,18-hole village in Xiangxi,and analyzes the excellent cases of using Miao Xiu elements in packaging at present;The fourth chapter analyzes the artistic characteristics of Miao Xiu in Eighteen Cave Village of Xiangxi from four aspects: process characteristics,theme characteristics,color characteristics and aesthetic characteristics,summarizes and extracts the typical elements and colors of local Miao Xiu,and puts forward three principles of this packaging design;The fifth chapter describes the design,including logo design,illustration,packaging design and its extension design.By designing the packaging of Miao embroidery products in Shibadong Village,it will impact consumers’ vision,enhance consumers’ shopping desires,and improve consumers’ shopping experience.The product packaging is used as the carrier of Miao embroidery culture,and the extracted Miao embroidery patterns will be extracted.Combining modern aesthetics with color to express the shape,color and meaning of Miao embroidery in Shibadong Village,so as to enhance the uniqueness of product packaging.In the form of illustrations,the extracted Miao embroidery patterns and colors are integrated into the packaging screen,so that the packaging can well interpret the Miao embroidery can also be "fashioned".The Miao embroidery,which has never been favored by people and should be eliminated,has been transformed into a culture that conforms to the modern public aesthetics,which plays a role of inheritance and publicity for Miao embroidery,making this design a packaging with the ethnic and folk customs characteristics of Shibadong Village.
