Researches On The Culture And Creative Products Innovative Design Of The Miao Embroidery In Southeast Of Guizhou Province

The Miao Embroidery in Southeast of Guizhou Province,as an external demonstration of Miao’s social culture,is an integration of the long ethnical and cultural history of the Miao Ethnic Group.As a major carrier of Miao’s civilization displayed to the world,it carries significant cultural and arts values.However,just as changes are happening to the Miao Society,there are changes happening to the living way of the people in Southeast of Guizhou Province.The traditional Miao Embroidery is on the edge of extinct.The literature researches on Miao Embroidery nowadays are mostly focusing on the pattern,clothing and customs of it,while the ones focusing on the innovative design of Miao Embroidery Products can be hardly seen.It calls for further researches therefore.Based on the fact above,this paper conducted researches by taking the researching object of the innovative design for culture and creative products of the Miao Embroidery in Southeast of Guizhou Province by combining relevant theories in Design,Ethnic Groups,Folk Customs and Cultural Anthropology.Firstly,analysis and discussions were carried out on the Miao Embroidery products and their techniques starting from the origin,types,color composition and cultural meanings of the traditional process of Miao Embroidery Products combining with relevant information.Secondly,with the explorations on the affiliation relations between the Miao Embroidery products and the culture and creative products,it aims to find the best joint point between Miao Embroidery products and culture and creative design,therefore making clear of the coupling degree between them.Thirdly,based on the products innovation design methodology,explorations were carried out on the methods serving the innovative design of Miao Embroidery culture and creative from multiple aspects as the elements selection and application,the relevant designing principles and products forms,etc.At last,discussions were conducted on the development tendency of the culture and creative products design of Miao in Southeast of Guizhou Province from the aspects as the establishment of designingthoughts progressing with times,the creation of diversified products-designing style and the establishment of sustainable design of products.The researches on the innovative design of Miao Embroidery products in Southeast of Guizhou Province can not only push forward the exploitation for the values of Miao Embroidery in local area,but with reference to the designing theories and methods of modern cultural creation products,it will provide new theoretical reference for Miao Embroidery of Southeast of Guizhou Province in the protection,inheritance and development of it.
