Research On Public Facilities Design Of Zhongshan Road In Shenyang

Zhongshan Road,in historic and cultural blocks with Shenyang characteristics,has its own inherent regional and cultural qualities,carring the historical memory of local development.In the 2019 Implementation Plan for the Protection of Historic and Cultural Cities in Shenyang,the construction concepts of adhering to the promotion of excellent culture,continuing the historical context,protecting the cultural genes of cities and displaying the characteristics of cities have been clearly stated.Currently,the designs of public facilities of Zhongshan Road,Shenyang is not only homogeneous,but also can not match its high frequency of use.The representative historical buildings and cultural symbols of Zhongshan Road are integrated into the public facilities of Zhongshan Road,thus shaping the characteristic style and features of the historic and cultural blocks.The public facilities bearing regional cultural characteristics can not only build public facilities in line with the region,but also create a pleasant urban neighborhood,so as to spread urban culture and continue historical context.Based on the investigation and analysis of the architectural features,street functions and pedestrian flow of Zhongshan Road,historic and cultural blocks in Shenyang,it is found that there are many deficiencies in its public facilities,such as the lack of regional cultural connotation,the need for overall planning and humanization and so on.In view of the problems found in the field investigation,the designing model of public facilities in Zhongshan Road,Shenyang was constructed in the light of the design principles of integrity,sociality,regionality and humanization.By decoding the elements of the regional culture,withdrawing the cultural connotation and reappearing the historical memory,as well as the integrity of the three strategies,the public facilities merging function and culture were designed for Zhongshan Road,Shenyang successfully.The regional culture was attempted to integrate into the design of public facilities for Zhongshan Road in this zone,to strengthen the association between public facilities and the neighborhood,so as to promote the public facilities in the neighborhood to develop more deeply.At the same time,it also provides the reference for the future public facilities design in the historic and cultural blocks.
