Research On The Design Of Public Facilities In Scenic Spots Based On Regional Cultural Characteristics

With the development of the tourism in China,the amount of the scenic spots increases faster and faster.At the same time,the public facilities in the scenic spots are improved step by step.However,it’s inevitable to avoid the defect,the single form,the same pattern,the plain design and color in the design of the public facilities.The appearance of the public facilities is not relevant to their function,which is the sign of its lack of features of the local culture.The overall arrangement of the public facilities lacks systematization and co-ordination.It’s hard to stress the features of the resorts.The design of those characteristic landscapes and the public facilities in the scenic spots can not only meet the need of those tourists,but also can cultivate the good image.At the mean time,it can play the role of advertising.So it’s very important to draw up the reasonable theory system when people make the design of the public facilities in the resorts.First of all,we should choose the right theme,find the corresponding style,make a rational plan,and then make a further improvement of the public facilities to cultivate a unique cultural image of the scenic spots.Through investigation and research,combine those elements of Bashu culture with the design of the public facilities in local scenic spots,which includes the improvement of the chairs,rubbish bin,guide boards and streetlights in order to cope with the problems that nowadays the public facilities are inadequate,invariable and unitary.Its appearance and color are not attractive,the appearance has nothing to do with its function and it lacks of regional culture and it’s installation of facilities lacks systematization and coordination.I will blend Bashu Culture into the design of public facilities,such as the chairs,rubbish bin,guide board,streetlight,and so on,to improve its cultural features,and to improve their function by changing the original layout of the scenic spots.The essay proved that the design concept is correct by analyzing the typical local culture-Bashu culture and practicing the design.It offers a certain degree of the practical significance and application value for the promotion activities and the construction of the public facilities.
