Research And Application Of Narrative Landscape

Narratology,as an emerging discipline that elevates narrative to the theoretical level,started late and mainly focused on the study of literature in the early stage,while the interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary study of narrative and landscape has developed more briefly.Landscape narratology separates the narrative from the landscape and focuses on the narrative of the site.From a spiritual perspective,the cultural connotation of the landscape site is reinterpreted by taking narrative order,rhetorical devices and landscape elements as factors.Taking time and space as the latitude,the cultural and philosophical significance of the landscape is mainly interpreted,which strengthens the interactive attribute between tourists and the site,and enhances the emotional connection between tourists and the site.The landscape gardening techniques are reconstructed and analyzed from the bottom up.This paper,based on the theme memorial park of the Yellow River management in Dasha River,abandons the traditional design concept of value-oriented material needs,and pays more attention to the reasonable demands of spirit.This project systematically discusses how to transform the site into landscape from the perspective of narrative,show the design theme and apply the narrative landscape technique to practice.From the perspectives of rhetoric and space-time view,the landscape reconstruction is carried out on both sides of the Dasha River,and the new landscape design ideas of commemorative landscape are discussed by using the design framework of landscape narrative,so that visitors can truly feel the commemorative theme of the park.
