Research On Urban Park Redesign Based On Narrative Landscape

City park,a important place of rest,entertainment,assembly and association,play a crucial role in city construction.Meanwhile,city park not only carried urban civilization,but also improved urban ecological environment and protected biodiversity.Each city has formed special cultural characteristics.However,with the accelerating of urbanization process,some city gardens lost their unique characteristics due to the over-exploitation and destruction for unilateral pursuit of economic interests.And it not only caused a negative impact on the development of the city,but also made the city park unable to protect the local cultural resources and inherit the local culture.Based on theories of narratology,this work analyzed and investigated the local intangible cultural resources through the perspective of narrative landscape,this work also organized and integrated the most representative stories and texts of folk tradition,then constructed a landscape place that can tell stories through the design practices and spread these stories by this place,and created a landscape space that achieve harmonious coexistence between human and nature with the perspective of users.According previous researches,the construction of narrative landscape should not only emphasize the expression methods of local landscape,but also highlight the whole organizational structure of the landscape space,and ultimately express the cultural mood.Foreign scholars had already formed a complete system of narrative landscape research,but domestic researches of structure was much more limited andlack macro narrative structure,strategy and framework,but focused on the expression of local landscape symbolic semantics.This work based on the concept of narrative landscape analyzes the structure of narratology and introduce theories of landscape narrative into design and transformation of landscape.This report give an example of Hexi scenic area in Chenzhou Anren,and carries out the design practice of urban park landscape with narrative landscape theories.Redesign of landscape in this area was conducted with three aspects of the discussion of narrative structure,the visual conversion of story text and the expression of landscaping techniques.The author try to create a landscape space full of historical and cultural connotation for the visitors through combining regional culture with landscape space.
