In the modern landscape system,city parks are more and more popular and welcomed by people.With the rapid development of urbanization,people's living standards improve,and the pressure on life and work also increases.Because of its special nature,it is quite important to improving the quality of living.The emphasis on material needs and functional pragmatism in city construction makes people under the pressure of life more need a certain amount of spiritual relief space and places to release pressure.At this time,the city park became a space for urban people to relax and entertain.Although city parks have a great impact on the lives of citizens,in the planning and construction of traditional park landscapes,there still exists a focus on "material elements"(that is,the objective elements of garden landscapes such as plants,water,buildings,etc.)that lighten "non-material elements"(that is,garden experience and spiritual cultural level requirements)planning and construction problems exist,ignoring the importance of non-material elements to city space,making the city space lack characteristics,the city imprint and spiritual culture are lost,The similarity between landscape symbols and design methods is high,resulting in a sameness design style.The introduction of "narratology theory" for this phenomenon can make up for this deficiency.As a literary genre,"narratology" pays attention to the time sequence of texts,while landscape expresses design information through spatial sequences.The two happen to coincide.So as a city with a rich story and history,this combination of time and space may be more able to impress participants,exert the positive impact of narrative landscape on people,and let the landscape "speak" to tell what once was here.It is learned from a lot of reading of relevant literature that although the "narrative"landscape has made great progress,most of the previous "narrative" landscape design has been discussed from the narrative form and content,lacking the interaction between people and the environment.That is,the lack of narrative content and the spiritual symbiosis and experience of the visitors,and there are few studies on "narrative"landscapes in city parks.Therefore,this article aims at the current status of the development of "narrative" landscapes,conducts field investigations on city parks with narrative foundations,combines in-depth theoretical exploration and design practice with narrative content,and strives to achieve the integration and resonance of landscape design to the viewer's senses and emotions.In order to improve the design research of"narrative" landscape in city parks,it is hoped that this research can provide guidance for the corresponding design development.This article will first analyze the existing landscape design problems,put forward the necessity of "narrative" landscapes in modern landscape design,and clarify related concepts such as "narrative" landscapes.Second,the narrative landscape cases at home and abroad is analyzed,grasp the research strategy,emphasize its theoretical principles,design basis,etc.Next,conduct field research and study,analyze the landscape narrative expression and space design of Tianlang Park,point out deficiencies,and find more suitable ways to modify and plan;Finally,the theoretical research is verified in the actual design through design practice.To sum up,the application and research process of "narrative" landscapes in city parks in this article is not only to make landscapes and parks appear in the city in a solid form,but also to areas of spiritual value and significance.In addition,the content of the narration and the landscape site are also interactive and complementary.On the one hand,the addition of narrative content gives landscape design emotion and life,meets the spiritual needs of the public,increases the sense of experience,and awakens the memory of the city,and also allows the discipline of landscape to expand in the contemporary environment;on the other hand,landscape as a space art form,also provides a carrier for the continuation of regional culture,and it also promotes the positioning of city culture and spiritual connotation.
