Research On The Characteristics Of Time And Space Evolution Of Fuxing Ancient Road And The Traditional Settlements Along It

With the development of linear cultural heritage theory and protection practices,my country’s emphasis on ancient roads and traditional settlements along the route has also increased.As an important product of immigrants over thousands of years,the Fuxing Ancient Road has bred many immigrant settlements along the route and shared It gave birth to a splendid culture,which is worthy of in-depth research and protection.This thesis takes the Fuxing Ancient Road,the material carrier of the Fuxing Ancient Road System,and the traditional settlements along it as the research object,using document induction,map language expression,etc.,to sort out the historical facts of immigration in the Fuxing area and the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of the Fuxing Ancient Road Six parameterization methods,including mathematical statistics,kernel density estimation,nearest neighbor analysis,nearest neighbor index method,superposition analysis,and elevation configuration method,are used to determine the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of traditional settlements along the Fuxing Ancient Road from the perspective of quantity,settlement and elevation,Research on the characteristics of the temporal and spatial evolution of the Fuxing Ancient Road and the traditional settlements along it,the research shows:①The Fuxing Ancient Road presents a spatial structure of "one main road,multiple branches".②Fuxing Ancient Road and the traditional settlements along the route sprouted in the Tang Dynasty and before,developed in the Song and Yuan Dynasty,and matured in the Ming and Qing dynasties.③The spatial distribution characteristics of the traditional settlements along the route are "aggregated as a whole,scattered locally".④The evolution law of traditional settlement distribution along the route is "extend along the axis of the ancient road,expand the circle layer,and distribute according to the topography".⑤The ancient road is closely related to the traditional settlements along the line.When the elevation difference and the distance from the ancient road are the smallest,the number of settlements increases;When the elevation difference is constant,the smaller the distance from the ancient road,the greater the number of settlements;When the distance to the ancient road is constant,the smaller the elevation difference is,the more settlements there will be.Further analysis of the characteristic attributes of the Fuxing Ancient Road System reveals that it has the characteristics of temporal and spatial continuity,spatial scale,functional diversity and cultural diversity.It also reveals that the Fuxing Ancient Road system is the result of the joint restriction of the basic carrying mechanism and the induced intervention mechanism.Finally,combined with the protection of the current situation of the Fuxing Ancient Road System,strategies for delimiting the Fuxing Ancient Road System Protection Area,establishing rules and regulations and management systems,strengthening publicity and education,and public participation are proposed.Taking the Fuxing ancient road system as the entire area,combined with ArcGIS to conduct a parametric analysis of the spatial relationship between the ancient road and the settlement,it has a research path,research method and research object.A certain degree of innovation.The research process and conclusions of this article will enrich the results of linear cultural heritage theory and traditional settlement space research,help the protection and development planning of linear cultural heritage,and provide theoretical and data support for settlement protection and development.
