With the rapid development of economy,people’s pace of life has become faster and faster.A variety of home appliances appear in people’s lives,long-term contact with electronic products will make people numb,lack of emotional comfort,so that when people buy products,they not only buy products to meet their own needs,but also pay more attention to the emotional needs of products.In order to keep up with the development trend of the world,people hope that the products can be more intelligent and convenient in the process of being used.However,the smart home appliances in the market today are almost the same.Many products are extremely similar in function and appearance,and there are great defects in innovative design.Users lack the desire to buy these popular products.Based on this background,in order to meet the needs of users,it is necessary to carry out innovative design for the existing household appliances.It will become a new development trend to design products that meet the perceptual needs and aesthetic needs of users.Firstly,this paper analyzes the research status of Kansei Engineering and CMF design,deeply studies Kansei engineering theory and CMF theory,and explores the relationship between them.According to the research methods of sensibility and CMF,the design trend of CMF is analyzed.Then,through the user research to establish the user ideal model,using the Kansei engineering implementation program to research and analyze the air purifier,collect the kansei image vocabulary of the air purifier,use the KJ method and expert argumentation method to screen the kansei image vocabulary,get the kansei image vocabulary,and reverse pair the kansei image vocabulary to establish the kansei image space.At the same time,the research trend of CMF design of air purifier products is analyzed,and combined with the CMF design application in other fields,the CMF experimental sample database of air purifier is established.The semantic difference table is used to evaluate the samples.The experimental data are analyzed by SPSS.The mapping relationship between perceptual intention vocabulary and CMF design elements is obtained.According to the mapping relationship,the design elements are selected to innovate the design of air purifier.Finally,the design of the air purifier product is evaluated to verify the rationality of the design.Based on the theory of Kansei Engineering,this paper explores the relationship between users’ emotional needs and CMF design elements from the perspective of CMF design.Taking the air purifier in intelligent household appliances as the research object,the perceptual data is applied to the product design of the air purifier.The purpose is to promote the appearance design innovation of intelligent products through this new innovative way,avoid the aggravation of product homogenization,and meet the emotional needs of users and the aesthetic needs of the public,In order to promote the development of intelligent mechanization industry.
