Design And Application Of Ocean Culture In Theme Hotel

With the rapid development of China’s economy and the increase in people’s spiritual needs,higher requirements have been placed on the hotel environment.It is difficult for popular hotels to meet people’s needs.Theme hotels with unique cultural and design connotations can attract consumers’ attention.Therefore,this paper aims to create a hotel environment that highlights Marine characteristics,and to explore how to enrich the theme culture in the hotel interior design,and how to show the Marine cultural characteristics of Dalian to the users and other design problems that need to be solved.Based on the theory of Marine culture,this paper studies the design and application of Marine culture in theme hotels,analyzes the theories and cases related to theme hotels and Marine culture,and adopts "Marine culture" as an important theme in hotel design.The Marine cultural theme hotel introduces a large number of Marine elements and Marine artistic features,creating a charming Marine palace.The author firstly extracted the appearance of Marine elements,abstraction,reasonable application in the design of space,then the ocean art-based on the "leading role" of painting,sculpture,music,film and television culture is used in the design of the hotel,such as the final extract "beach" gray,"the sea" blue,"shells" white as the main color of space design,make the customer experience with Marine living environment of artistic atmosphere.The theme of ocean culture is not only conducive to the shaping of the space environment,but also gives audience a visual feeling of "beauty".Through the above research and analysis,this paper summed up the Marine culture theme hotel space design covers the space shape,modern materials,decorative furnishings,colour,elements,design elements such as lighting,as well as the Marine culture theme hotel need to be innovative,continuity,practical,aesthetic,experiential five design principles,according to the ocean hotel design elements and principles in practice-to Dalian WenShaMan hotel as an example to show the ocean culture,further strengthen the arguments in this paper.Through the study of relevant theories and practical cases in this paper,a theme hotel with Marine cultural characteristics is created,which enriches the research field of theme hotels in China and innovates and inherits the Marine cultural characteristics of Dalian,hoping to make a contribution to the research of space design of theme hotels.
