Then it makes a briefstatement about the conception, characteristics and development tendency oftheme hotel. It analyzes dialectical relationship between Mongoliantraditional culture and theme hotel. From the aspect of semiology, the paperseek the source of Mongolian traditional culture connotation throughanalyzing some typical symbols in Mongolian traditional culture, such asMongolian yurt, Mongolian Shamanism, Mongolian vignette, sulde and etc. Itexcavates the Mongolian traditional culture connotation contained in thesymbols of Mongolian traditional culture. Combining the modern interiordesign principle, the paper has found the method to transform the Mongoliantraditional culture symbols into interior design formal language in moderntheme hotel.
