Liaoning Beizhen Catholic Church is one of the existing modern religious buildings in Beizhen.It is a carrier of Catholic historical information and western religious culture in Beizhen.It is a representative building that integrates the Chinese native construction skills with western religious architectural styles.It witnessed the development and growth of Beizhen City,and was also damaged by nature and man during the passage of time.This article mainly studies the restoration design of Catholic Church in Liaoning Beizhen.In order to put forward the restoration design plan of Beizhen Catholic Church realistically,the dissertation first summarizes the spread of modern Catholicism in Liaoning and the distribution of churches through historical data files,and analyzes the unique architectural style and architecture of Liaoning churches through a lot of field investigation Culture,exploring traditional Chinese techniques used in modern churches.Then make a comparative study with the architectural history,architectural characteristics,and current survey of the North Town Christian Church,and propose a reasonable restoration design plan.This research is also an important part of the study of modern architectural history in Liaoning.It is hoped that on the road in the future,based on this research,combined with the knowledge of various disciplines,further research will be provided to correctly judge the value and protection of the modern Catholic church in Liaoning.basis.
