| Under the background of economic globalization and the rise of tourism, some of the Tulou buildings with relatively complete protection are listed as "world cultural heritage",most of them are not listed as world cultural heritage, and the earth buildings with different degrees of protection are undergoing different changes. The Tulou settlement has lost its cultural flavor due to over commercialization and gradually collapsed due to long-term abandonment. The traditional Tulou can no longer meet people’s requirements for material living conditions.People keep moving away, resulting in the increasingly serious phenomenon of "hollowing out" of Tulou and the continuous loss of Tulou culture. This paper takes the Tulou settlement in Nanjing County of Fujian Province as the research object, combining with the field investigation, the visit of craftsmen and the study of historical documents, makes an in-depth discussion on the regional cultural characteristics, the spatial form characteristics of Tulou buildings and the type of Tulou settlement. On this basis, taking the "Tulou building study hall" as the design topic and Pushan village in Nanjing County as the design site, this paper summarizes the guiding principles of the architectural design of the earth building study hall through the comparative analysis of the experience of domestic and foreign village public building protection and transformation cases. From the aspects of design concept, space form characteristics, space function layout, and the spatial relationship with surrounding settlements, this paper studies the architectural design of the earth building workshop. At the same time, the research on the interior carving, mural, couplet,Bagua culture, kitchen culture and ritual culture of Tulou provides cultural materials for the protection and inheritance of regional culture of Tulou.Through the study of the architectural culture and regional culture of the Tulou, this paper explores the architectural transformation of the study hall. |
