In the open and shared road system, the contradiction between pedestrians and vehicles is prominent, and pedestrian traffic safety has attracted widespread attention. The cross-street facilities completely separate the right of pedestrians and vehicles, protect the safety of pedestrians and improve the efficiency of urban traffic operation.A large number of cross-street facilities play the traffic function of separation of pedestrians and vehicles, but some of them provide poor service performance, which is difficult to satisfy the pedestrians’ sense of gain and happiness in green travel. In order to improve the service performance of existing and to-bebuilt cross-street facilities, this paper studies the service performance index system, evaluation and optimization of cross-street facilities based on pedestrian perception.First, this paper analyzes the classification and characteristics of cross-street facilities, defines the meaning of pedestrian perception and service performance, and explains the correlation mechanism between pedestrian crossing demand and the service performance of cross-street facilities. The author analyzes the influencing factors of the service performance of cross-street facilities by drawing fishbone diagram, and combines the principles of the index system to construct a service performance index system of cross-street facilities based on pedestrian perception. It includes a total of 16 indicators at five levels of rationality, coordination, convenience, patency, comfort and security, and gives detailed index definition and quantification methods.Secondly, the paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of common weighting methods and evaluation methods, selects AHP and the entropy weight method as subjective and objective weighting methods, considering that AHP is difficult to achieve satisfactory consistency, then introduces the genetic algorithm to modify AHP,and calculates the optimal weight coefficient through the combination weight model of game theory. This paper analyzes the adaptability of gray correlation analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation in the service performance evaluation of cross-street facilities, and finally establishes the gray fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model.Thirdly,in order to specify the specific direction of optimizing the service performance of cross-street facilities, this paper uses combination weight of game theory to indicate the derived importance of the indicator, uses the correlation score in gray fuzzy evaluation to indicate the performance level of the indicator, then establishes the improved IPA model and proposes the optimized paths for service performance. Then, the author takes 10 typical cross-street facilities in Nanshan District of Shenzhen as an example, carries out the investigation through RP survey and observation statistics, and tests the reliability and validity of the survey. The subjective and objective weights of index are determined by GA-AHP and entropy weight method, and the comprehensive weights of index are calculated by the combination weight model of game theory.Among them, accessibility, crossing mode, location and bypass distance contributed the most to the evaluation. The paper evaluates the service performance of cross-street facilities by gray fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, and ranks the service performance of cross-street facilities. Finally, the paper uses the IPA model to analyze the C-level and D-level cross-street facilities, analyzes the weakness of their service performance, proposes feasible governance schemes and optimized paths, and proposes planning suggestions for the construction of crossstreet facilities.
