City pedestrian street public facility is an indispensable part of urban public facilities which reflects a city's quality of life, the management level and people's spiritual civilization appearance.Urban construction, especially the urban public facilities are so closely related to the people's life. Tianjin is one of China's four municipalities and it has a long history. In backdrop of urbanization, improvement and modifications of public facilities, Tianjin also carries a large range of transformation on its pedestrian street. But reconstruction on public facilities of Tianjin pedestrian streets is not successful. There still have been a lot of deficiencies about public health, traffic information facilities and multiple projects have. Through field investigation on Tianjin pedestrian streets public facilities, and compared with China several big cities pedestrian streets, this paper puts forward some view points.This paper mainly is divided into the following several parts:The first part of this paper is involved in research object of relevant background and related research development and research purpose and meaning briefly described.The second part analyzes city pedestrian street public facilities related concepts.The third part is from the angle of planning for analyzing public facilities of the pedestrian street which should have special features about hommization .The fourth part analyzes domestic examples of pedestrian street public facilities and summarizes its effection.The fifth part analyzes some existing problems in hommization about planning, design and management of Tianjin pedestrian street public facilities.The sixth part puts forward specific solutions to public facilities problems based on analysis above.
