| With the improvement of people’s living standards in China’s urbanization process,the number of motor vehicles increases rapidly,and cities appear that motor vehicles occupy pedestrian space and ignore the role of street space on people,which to some extent suppress the daily needs of residents for slow travel,leading to the lack of vitality of urban street space.Street space has two attributes of traffic and public space.The integrated development of both is particularly important to improve the spatial quality of the whole city and activate the vitality of the block.It is of great academic value and practical significance to analyze the factors affecting the vitality of the street space from the human scale.This paper is based on the feelings and needs of pedestrians,with the vitality of the street space,eight living streets in Gaoshui area of Mianyang City were selected as the research objects,the study is conducted from four aspects: First,based on the theory of environmental psychology and urban vitality,clarify the logical relationship between human-space perception and street space vitality;next,Using SD method,subjective evaluation of pedestrians’ perception in the street space;once more,through the actual field measurement and shooting,using visual image semantic segmentation software,objective evaluation and analysis of the sample streets,then the subjective and objective data,looking for the factors that affect the vitality of the street space;last,based on the actual needs of pedestrians,combined with the influencing factors,put forward the optimization strategy to enhance the vitality of urban space.The study conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on relevant theories,referring to the relevant research results at home and abroad,clarify the interaction between pedestrians,street space environment and street space vitality,pedestrians perceive the street space environment in street space,environment has direct impact on pedestrians;environmental quality will produce the corresponding street space vitality,vitality directly affects the environment;pedestrians reflect the vitality of street space,vitality has indirect impact on pedestrians.(2)Subjective evaluation of the sample street space vitality by using the SD method.By using SPSS25.0 software to sample street questionnaire data analysis,using SD method,finally obtain seven public perception factors,respectively named interface landscape perception factor,environment,pavement,street facilities,visual experience,street greening perception factor and interface order perception factor.According to the variance contribution rate calculated for each street comprehensive score,pedestrians in Mianyang sample street space perception evaluation from high to low: Yuejin road Ⅱ(west),Yuejin road Ⅲ(west),Yuejin road Ⅲ(east),Yuejin road Ⅳ(east),Yuejin road Ⅳ(west),Gaoshui middle street(north),Gaoshui north street(north),Yuejin road Ⅱ(east),Shengshui south street(north),Gaoshui middle street(south),Gaoshui south street(south),Shengshui south street(south),Gaoshui south street(north),Yuejin road I(west),Yuejin road I(east),Gaoshui north street(south).(3)The factors affecting the spatial vitality of urban streets were analyzed.Firstly,the actual measurement data is sorted out using the visual image semantic segmentation software Semantic Segmentation_v1.0,measure the image data and the image data to objectively evaluate the sample street space,then analyze the subjective and objective data to find the evaluation factors and indicators,and then conduct regression analysis to know the critical value of the factors affecting the vitality of the street space.Finally,the five factors affecting the street space vitality are the interface landscape,environmental atmosphere,pavement,street greening and interface order.(4)Put forward optimization strategies to improve the vitality of street space.According to the five influencing factors of urban street space vitality,the paper should improve the safe and orderly street environment,optimize the street building interface,highlight street space features,optimize street landscape,create green ecological space,improve pavement form and walking space experience,and improve infrastructure construction. |
