In the manufacturing industry,shipbuilding is a large manufacturing.The long life cycle,large scale,and large quantity of parts of ship products have led to the characteristics of capital-intensive,material-intensive,labor-intensive,service-intensive,technology-intensive and so on.In order to effectively guide ship production,shipbuilding companies need to develop guidelines for the formation of production design work.However,due to the characteristics of ship construction,the vast majority of enterprises still retain the work mode of designing while working.The planned control capacity of the design is weak,and changes are frequent.Management is often concentrated on the drawings,ignoring the management of model-based product bills of materials(BOMs).In this context,this paper combines the theoretical experience of life cycle management,study on the management and application of product data of China Shipbuilding Huangpu Wenchong Shipping Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Huangpu Wenchong)shipbuilding enterprise : from the aspects of product data management requirements,overall framework of product data management system design,life-oriented data information coding technology,system design verification,and project prospects,we will comprehensively discuss product data management and application of shipbuilding companies based on life cycle.Firstly,analysis on the demand for product data management of shipbuilding companies.This part mainly analyzes the application of product data management in the shipbuilding industry,current problems,and the specific requirements for realizing the life-cycle management of ship product data.Secondly,the overall framework of the product data management system.This part mainly analyzes the framework design ideas of product data management systems,plans design principles,forms a system framework,and conducts overall functional design.Thirdly,research on coding technology of ship product data information for the whole life cycle.This part mainly focuses on the technical principles of product data information coding for shipbuilding companies managed throughout the life cycle.Fourthly,system design and verification.This part mainly conducts design platform research,forms design methods,and displays systems.The above study can further develop a product life cycle data management and application theory for shipbuilding companies theoretically.In practice,it can provide reference for the development of Whampoa Wenchong product data management system,and form a set of information systems to meet the needs of the whole life management of Huangpu Wenchong product data. |
