| The equipment manufacturing industry is a crucial part of the national economy.When facing intense competition with leading companies in the industry globally,implementing an enterprise resource planning system is conducive to improving management and enhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises.On the basis of the operations and management at Jiangsu Hefeng Machinery Manufacturing Co.,Ltd.,this research studies the development and application of a production management system for enterprises that manufacture pipeprocessing equipment.The first component is the overall design of the production management system.According to Jiangsu Hefeng’s organizational structure and main business processes combined with its actual business conditions and internal and external environment,key points and difficulties in enterprise management are identified,and the functional requirements of the production management system are determined,including expected goals,utility,and planning for the enterprise.Other requirements determine the relationship between each functional module and the business information exchanged among the modules.Second,submodules for the production management system are designed in detail.In accordance with the production management system design scheme,by using the four main functional modules of sales,production,procurement,and inventory management as an example,the business process of each submodule is designed,their functions are clarified,and the docking with the module is determined.Other modules clarify business information that is passed or exchanged by the interface.Among the modules,the production management submodules are designed in detail and include bills of materials,main production plans,workshop management,and cost management.Third,the development and implementation of the production management system are studied.Combining the actual operation and management of the enterprise,designing the production management system architecture,selecting the appropriate database type and establishing multiple databases,establishing production technical data and inventory information data,and demonstrating the interface and some functions of the production management system are described.Finally,on the basis of the actual situation of the enterprise,the production management system implementation method for pipe processing equipment manufacturing is studied,and the work content that various departments of the company must complete for implementation is clarified.Key points and difficulties in the implementation process and the enterprise’s achievements after using the production management system are summarized.This study can be used as a reference for implementing production management systems for enterprises in this industry. |
