With the rapid development of China’s economy,the complex equipment manufacturing industry has become increasingly prominent in the national economic growth,but at the same time it is also facing fierce global competition pressure.In the fierce market competition environment,mass manufacturing mode has not been able to meet the individual needs of customers so the ETO(Engineering to Order)mode driven by customer demands has shown obvious advantages.Large-scale hydropower equipment,aerospace systems and other large-scale complex equipment manufacturing companies have adopted the ETO production mode.Because of the high complexity of the production process and the characteristics of project-based manufacturing,the production planning management of such enterprises is relatively difficult.Furthermore,traditional production planning theories such as MRP cannot adapt well to its production characteristics.Therefore,in order to improve the production planning management level of ETO complex equipment manufacturing enterprises,this thesis conducts a project-driven multi-level production planning management method,which includes the following three aspects.First of all,a multi-level production planning system driven by product projects is established that adapts to the production characteristics of ETO complex equipment manufacturing enterprises.After analyzing production planning theories and relevant literature,this thesis improves the traditional MRPII planning system combined with the network planning technology to construct a multi-level production planning system from the two dimensions of product structure and production organization structure.The system transforms traditional MRP/MRPII-based single-piece and small-batch production planning mode to a project-oriented production planning management mode,which finally realizes the combination of project-driven planning and control with production planning oriented to product materials and manufacturing resources.Secondly,a product data and resource management model for the multi-level production planning system is constructed.Different levels of planning require different content and granularity of product and manufacturing resources,which may result in poor coherence among different levels of plans.Therefore this paper constructs a product data and resource management model for the multi-level production planning system.Based on the idea of BOM,the time and quantity standard for PAU(production and assembly units)and manufacturing BOM data for parts and components are built separately.Then the mapping relationship between two types of product data is given.In addition,from three dimensions of feature attributes,organizational level and planning level,a cube model of manufacturing resources for multi-level planning is constructed to integrate different manufacturing resources required for different levels of planning.Thirdly,a specific planning method and implementation technology are proposed for multi-level production plans based on product data and resource management models.The thesis abstracts product planning problem to a key resource-constrained multi-project scheduling problem.A mathematical model is established with the objective function of minimizing advance and tardiness cost and the constraints of PAU’s process sequence and key equipment resources.Then an intelligent algorithm is applied to solve the mathematical model and then an example analysis is conducted to verify the rationality of the model.After that,the results obtained from planning of product project level are input to the planning of components and parts level.On the basis of the improvements of traditional MRPII system,the planned start and planned end intervals of the components and their key processes are calculated.The multi-level production planning management method proposed in this thesis is applicable to ETO complex equipment manufacturing enterprises.It supplements the existing production planning theory and related literature,and at the same time it can provide support for enterprises to improve their production planning management level.
