Due to the rapid development of China’s urbanization process, all aspects of China’s industrial development are inevitably facing transformation and upgrading.Among them, the transformation and development of agriculture is in a critical period.Due to the progress of science and technology, the trend of agricultural mechanization, scale and diversification is gradually emerging. However, due to the geographical constraints, the traditional agricultural production mode still occupies the mainstream in the rural agricultural development of southwest mountainous areas. However, each township has begun to explore the development mode of agricultural modernization in mountainous areas. The transformation of agricultural development has led to the change of the production and life style of rural residents, and then affected the pattern of town and village space. In order to realize the development demand of modern agriculture,it is necessary to optimize and reconstruct the settlement space of towns and villages.Wushan is a typical case of the development of the mountainous countryside in Southwest China. There are many problems in the development of the villages and towns.Under the realistic background of agricultural transformation, how to coordinate the internal contradictions between human and land, construction land and ecological environment, resources and industrial development, and how to build a town and village space to adapt to and promote regional industrial development are particularly urgent and important in the construction of rural residential environment in such a poor mountainous area. This paper takes the spatial optimization of towns and villages in the county as the research subject, and discusses the influence mechanism, path and strategy of the spatial optimization of towns and villages in the period of agricultural transformation. The main research contents include:The first chapter is the introduction. This paper introduces the research background and significance, analyzes the related concepts involved in this paper, determines the research object of spatial optimization of mountain towns and villages from the perspective of agricultural transformation, and summarizes the research ideas and research methods to lay the foundation for the follow-up of the paper. The second chapter describes the literature review and theory of agricultural development and town village space construction, which constitutes the theoretical support system of this paper. The third chapter studies the relationship between the transformation and development of agriculture and the spatial change of towns and villages.Through combing the development stages of agricultural transformation, through the analysis of different stages of agricultural development stage, the performance characteristics of town village settlement space. Thus,it analyzes the influencing factors and mechanism of the spatial development of towns and villages from the perspective of agricultural transformation. The fourth chapter analyzes the current situation of Wushan’s agricultural industry development and the construction of town and village space, and summarizes the current situation of town and village space from five aspects: human land relationship, town and village settlement, agricultural production, facilities supporting, ecological environment. In the fifth chapter, combining with the problem-based approach, the paper puts forward six strategies to optimize the space structure of towns and villages, the living space, the production space, the ecological space and the supporting facilities.Chapter six is the conclusion. The conclusion and deficiency of this paper are summarized.
