Optimization Strategies Of Public Open Space System In Compact Cities Based On "Perceived Accessibility"

China is in the process of rapid urbanization,and the prominent "contradiction between man and earth" leads to the conditions that the urbanization rate of China is much higher than that of western countries,which also makes the physical characteristics of urban development in China tend to be "high density" and "intensive" of compact cities.However,because of too focused on the objective environment and economic indicators,the city in the process of development in our country,compact city characteristics and the demands of public open space construction produced many contradictions,which have brought a significant impact on the urban public open space.In the further development of compact cities,it is necessary to balance economic development,environmental protection and social equity.How to make the construction of public open space meet the requirements of sustainable development of social economy and environment is the focus of this paper.In the case that the improvement of "spatial accessibility" of public open space is limited greatly under the intensive land use mode,"perceived accessibility" as an evaluation method of public open space to predict user activities has stronger practical significance.This paper takes public open space in Yuzhong District of Chongqing as the research object,with "perceived accessibility" as the media,and from the perspective of environmental behavior,political economy and urban culture to explore the optimization and improvement methods of public open space system in compact cities through quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.There are six chapters and three parts in this paper.The first part includes the first and second chapters,which explains the significance of the research,defines the research scope and concept,and puts forward the research method and framework.In addition,the theoretical and practical progress of compact cities,public open Spaces,perceived accessibility and their cross-links at home and abroad are reviewed to establish a theoretical basis for the research.The second part,including the third chapter,which sorts out the development process of public open space in Yuzhong District,and puts forward the relationship between the compact city theory and public open space,which both promotes and contradicts each other.And from the pattern of physical space,social psychology and commercial capital invasion analyzes the Yuzhong District public open space in the development trend of the contradiction perspective.The third part includes the fourth chapter.Questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview were used to analyze the influencing factors of users’ perceived accessibility to public open space in Yuzhong District.In addition,the author further obtained the perceptual characteristics of personal dimension space congestion enhancement,path dimension physical accessibility weakening,spatial dimension space type and activity enrichment,and social dimension space justice decreasing.Part four,which includes chapters five and six,based on the statistical analysis data and the analysis of the perceived accessibility characteristics of the four dimensions above,from the three aspects of constructing spatial pattern,shaping spatial form and improving spatial experience,this paper puts forward the optimization and improvement strategies of public open space system in compact cities from whole to parts,and finally summarizes the whole paper and puts forward the deficiencies and prospects of the research.
