Abstract/Summary:
Waterfront space is one of the key elements that constitute the urban space of Jiangnan Water Town,which has good ecological,cultural and landscape values,and is also an important place to carry the leisure life of citizens.However,in the process of rapid urbanization,the traditional waterfront space structure has gradually declined,with phenomena such as the closure of waterfront resources and the separation of river and road structures,and the waterfront space has been isolated from the public life.In the series of waterfront space problems,by optimizing the accessibility of the waterfront space,the efficacy and other effects of waterfront space could be effectively restored,thereby promoting the revival of waterfront space.Since the closed waterfront unit is not open to the public,it is not meaningful for accessibility research.The research selects urban waterfront open space as the research object,which is the intersection of waterfront space and open space,combining the spatial characteristics of both and has more practical significance for accessibility research.This paper takes Suzhou New District as an example to analyze the development status of waterfront open space,and uses the network analysis method in the Arc GIS service area module to construct an accessibility evaluation model.Samples of typical waterfront open spaces are selected to calculate the accessibility coverage of waterfront open spaces under different travel modes.Then,the land use,street population distribution,POI data,spatial syntactic analysis model and other urban multi-source map information are overlaid with the accessibility analysis results.The coupling degree model is used to analyze the spatial correlation between the accessible area and multi-source data,and to comprehensively study the matching situation between the waterfront open space and various spatial resources in the city,so as to provide a scientific basis for quantitative analysis for further update strategy research.Based on the analysis of accessibility and coupling,this paper summarizes the current situation of waterfront open space,and proposes corresponding optimization strategies from three aspects: waterfront open space layout,waterfront open space units,and surrounding traffic systems: firstly,increasing the number of waterfront open space,proposing the opening and closed waterfront space and dividing and converting waterfront land attributes;secondly,the optimization of waterfront open space,increasing the number of gateways and parking facilities,enhancing the attraction of the space;thirdly,in terms of urban road network,the joint development of various travel modes is advocated by increasing waterfront access.In addition,the update scheme is substituted into the accessibility analysis model to simulate the accessibility update path,verify the effectiveness of accessibility optimization,and establish an effective optimization strategy scheme to improve the accessibility of waterfront open space.Through the research on the optimization strategy of waterfront open space accessibility,the paper explores the contradiction between supply and demand of the existing urban waterfront space and the use behavior of citizens from a new perspective,provides quantitative analysis method tools for urban design units,enhances the scientificity and feasibility of the decision-making process of the management department,and has positive significance for promoting the spatial renewal of the Jiangnan Watertown Space.
