Traffic Accident Characteristics And Accident Causation Depth Analysis On Highway Passing Through Villages Segments

With the rapid development of economy and the construction of small cities and towns,the mileage of highway passing through villages segments are greatly increased,and as many transit roads and urban trunk roads are merged,traffic volumes are increasing and intensifying conflicts between transit traffic and village internal traffic lead to the serious traffic safety problems in these areas.At present,there are many studies on road traffic accident characteristics and safety influence factors at domestic and overseas,however,it is still less to take the highway passing through villages segments as the research object.Compared with highway ordinary segments,whether there are special distribution characteristics of road accidents and more complex relationship between accident factors in highway passing through villages segments need to be further studied.Based on the road traffic accident data on a national highway in Xiushan County,Chongqing City,this paper discusses seveal issues on the characteristics,characteristics of accident causation network,association rule of accident causation,relational of accident causation of the traffic accidents on highway passing through villages segments,on the basis of various theory and method including statistical analysis,complex network,theory of association rules,grey relational theory.Based on the statistical analysis,this paper makes a horizontal comparative analysis from four aspects:drivers,vehicles,roads and environment,the correlation between the characteristic variables and the number of accidents are analyzed,and the characteristics of traffic accidents between the highways segments passing through villages and the ordinary road segments are obtained.In order to grasp the relationship of accident causation,built an accident causation network based on the complex network theory,and GN algrothim is used to detect the network,by comparing the basic structural parameters of the network before and after the division,it is proved that there is a certain community structure in the network,and there is a more obvious correlation aggregation between the accident causation.In order to further analyze the relationship between the accident causation,based on the theory of association rules,the Apriori algorithm is used to data mining for the association rules of traffic accident causation,through screening and analyzing the results of two item set rule,three item set rule and four item set rule,the internal relationships between accident causation are analysed.Then,the paper use grey relational analysis to analyze the cause of the accidents,and take accident frequency and accident severity as the object of analysis,the correlation degree of accident causation are got,on this account,the importance of the accident causation which affect the frequency of the accident and the severity of the accident are sorted.Finally,on the basis of the above analysis,this paper summarizes the traffic safety characteristics of highway passing through villages segments.From the two aspects of management soft environment and road hardware conditions,the paper put forward the preventive measures for traffic accidents of highway passing through villages segments to further improve the safety level of highway passing through villages segments.
