Study On Planning And Design Of Outdoor Recreation Space For Children In Rural Towns

Childhood is a critical period for people to cultivate values,develop personality,and cognitive environment.Active and healthy outdoor activities not only meet children’s physical and mental development needs,but also stimulate their ability to explore nature,cooperate,and persevere.However,children have obvious disadvantages compared with adults in terms of physical strength,intelligence and life experience.Whether they are urban or rural children,they are vulnerable groups and deserve the care and help of the society.However,domestic research results on children’s outdoor activity space are concentrated at the urban children’s level,and there are few descriptions of rural children who have deviated living environment quality and are more vulnerable to activities.This article takes four rural townships in Jishou City as an example,and selects about 600 students from eight primary schools and kindergartens in the township as the research object.Through literature induction,questionnaire survey,expert evaluation,AHP analytic method,and GIS spatial analysis Research methods such as law to qualitatively and quantitatively study the characteristics of recreational space and children’s activities,with a view to providing theoretical basis and methodological reference for future rural children’s recreational space planning and design,so as to help children’s growth.This study is divided into four parts:1.The basic knowledge theory research partly sorted out the domestic and foreign industry design norms and standards on children’s recreational space.After comparison,it was found that China has lagged seriously in the normativeness and standardization of children’s recreational space planning and design.In addition,using the Citespace software to conduct comparative research on relevant domestic and foreign scientific research progress,it is found that China’s horizontal and vertical depth of research shows a large gap with foreign countries,especially in the field of rural children’s outdoor activities research is almost blank.2.Research on recreational propensity Based on literature summarization,field investigation,questionnaire survey and other methods,a qualitative analysis of children’s outdoor recreational space and behavioral psychological characteristics was conducted,and the children’s recreational propensity was quantitatively reflected through the statistical results of the questionnaire.The results show that children’s recreational psychological influence ranks as interest psychology> curiosity psychology> social psychology> catharsis psychology> cognitive psychology> performance psychology;recreational activity selection preference ranks as leisure type> sports type> constructive type> adventure type> imitation type > Role type> Cognitive type> Intelligent activity;The preference of recreational space is natural forest and grass space> Planting space> Water area> Sports and entertainment plaza> Residential space> Commercial street space> Road space.It also categorizes and summarizes the spatial characteristics that attract children.3.The safety evaluation system is composed of two parts: the safety evaluation of recreational space and the safety evaluation of the journey to the target space.The weight of each indicator is calculated and the evaluation system table is constructed by a professional analytic hierarchy tool(ya-AHP software),so as to accurately quantify and evaluate children ’s Safety of activities.The results show that the risk factors that threaten children’s safety mainly come from inside the recreational space,and the external travel safety threat coefficient is relatively low;inside the recreational space,the influence of the factors is ranked as natural factors> traffic conditions> sanitary conditions> amusement facilities> regulatory supervision > Spatial layout> Floor materials;in the external itinerary,the factor influence is ranked as time-consuming journey> traffic conditions.4.The planning practice part is the demonstration of research results and planning methods and concepts.The spatial and network analysis module based on GIS software,combined with the planning theory and method of recreational space network and green space network,jointly build a child-friendly and beautiful environment green township recreational space network.The network construction includes two parts of recreation space network generation and green space network mosaic,and uses "source" and "path" as the components of the network,and selects the "source" of the network node through GIS software and manual methods and generates the "connected node" Diameter ”to form a net-like spatial layout.Relying on the mesh-like spatial layout,it provides detailed design guidance for various recreational spaces and corridors.
