At present,with the gradual disappearance of the "cost depression" advantages of Asian countries and the active implementation of the "re-industrialization" strategy by developed economies such as the United States,the countries along the "Belt and Road" are facing the dual dilemma of "high-end recirculation" and "low-end diversion".It seriously impedes the economic development and industrialization of the countries along the “Belt and Road”.In addition,due to China’s long-term adherence to investment-driven economic growth models,coupled with distortions in corporate investment incentives and large-scale stimulus after the 2008 financial crisis,China’s equipment manufacturing industry has a serious problem of overcapacity.In this context,international capacity cooperation in the equipment manufacturing industry will become an important direction for China and the countries along the “Belt and Road” to promote each other’s economic development in the coming period.However,in the international capacity cooperation of the equipment manufacturing industry between China and the countries along the “Belt and Road”,the differences in the political,economic and legal systems between China and the countries along the “Belt and Road” will affect the level of capacity cooperation in the equipment manufacturing industry.Therefore,it is particularly important to choose a reasonable location for international capacity cooperation in the equipment manufacturing industry,which helps China and the countries along the “Belt and Road” to develop capacity cooperation on the basic of mutual benefit and win-win results.This paper uses the entropy method,the analytic hierarchy process based on scale expansion,and the research method combining gravitational model to study the location selection of international capacity cooperation in Chinese equipment manufacturing.Firstly,this paper analyzes the general situation of the development of international capacity cooperation in the equipment manufacturing industry on the basic of combing relevant research literature at home and abroad.Secondly,this paper analyzes and selects the influencing factors for the location selection of international capacity cooperation in the equipment manufacturing industry.Based on the establishment of an empirical analysis-related explanatory variable system,it uses an extended gravity model to conduct an empirical study.Finally,by measuring the gravitational coefficients of international capacity cooperation of equipment manufacturing industries in 57 conuntries along the “Belt and Road ” line from 2004 to 2018,we will analyze regional and country-level choices of China’s equipment manufacturing facilities in international capacity cooperation locations along the “Belt and Road” countries.Simultaneously,the countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the location selection of China’s equipment manufacturing industry’s international capacity cooperation will be put forward from five aspects,providing certain theoretical support for promoting the international capacity cooperation of China’s equipment manufacturing industry and optimizing the location selection of China’s equipment manufacturing industry’s international capacity cooperation.
