Application Of Balhae Classic Patterns In The Cultural And Innovative Products Design

According to the classification and arrangement of related literature and cultural relics of Balhae patterns,this paper will summarize and sort out the characteristics of Balhae patterns,extract and translate Balhae patterns by introducing the interdisciplinary methods of topology,graphics and brand science.Through translating the extracted patterns according to modern design methods and aesthetics,cultural and creative products with the characteristics of Balhae patterns and modern aesthetics are created.In the aspect of the characteristics of Balhae patterns,factor analysis and topological configuration are selected to extract patterns,then,shape grammar and single line redrawing are used to translate the extracted pel patterns into new patterns.The extracted and translated design elements are applied to the design of cultural and innovative products.The design practice is used to test the feasibility of the extraction path and translation method of traditional patterns summarized above and expand the application path of traditional patterns in the design of cultural and innovative products.Through collecting,sorting and analyzing the patterns of Balhae from economy,politics,culture,production and life,the patterns of Balhae are classified by the theme.DFA analysis method was used to score the collected patterns according to their characteristic distinctness to screen out the classic patterns with apparent characteristics of the Balhae.According to features of the pattern,the corresponding extraction and translation methods are selected to extract and translate the pattern.After the extraction and translation,the pattern will be put into the database to provide materials for the subsequent cultural and creative product design.By applying the extracted and translated design elements to the design of cultural and innovative products,the feasibility of the above-summarized pattern extraction method and translation method to provide material sources for cultural and innovative products is verified through the final design.The design elements of Balhae national pattern extraction and translation are applied in the design of modern cultural and innovative products to endue cultural connotation,increase cultural added value and enhance the appeal of cultural and innovative products to consumers.With cultural and creative products as the carrier,the design is endowed with the spiritual connotation of traditional patterns.Through cultural and innovative products to spread the history and culture of the Balhae,improve the public awareness of the Balhae,broaden the transmission path of traditional culture.
